Love the foil additions. I love what you did with Max's face paint!

With those old balsa kits, you have to build a spitfire, hurricane, Fokker and a Zero too.

I didnt realize those old kits could look so good! Great detailimg work and paint. Very nice yellow on there too! Looking forward to seeing all ten of your kits painted 😏

@Duymon Thank you. Glad you like the details! Next time you need a file, PM me to get you some discounts. Your prints came out clean. Your orientation is the best for getting clean results 👍

Ha ha. I save all my daughters' tiny chains just like yours!

There is no art that shows exactly, but I am pretty sure she floats around using her tentacles. And I think I have finally figured this out! It needs an open flap.

Cool. All hand made?

Hey Steve, How's Japan treating you? I wouldn't cut the ball joints till you had a good replacement ready. I'm sure you can find a good joint system for your needs.

Quick tip for thinning Mr. Hobby Primer Surfacer. I made a mistake and thinned it with isopropyl alcohol, which turned it to goo. Instead of throwing it out, I added half again an amount of lacquer thinner, which fixed the goo, and thinned it out for a clean spray. Results below.

Good feedback, it would look nicer. But engraving panel lines is above my skill level on organic surfaces, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. So I go the easy route and extrude details. On a hard-surface model, panel lines are much easier.

Yeah, you have to give him credit. But it is tough to achieve. I wonder what would be the set up to get a result like that safely. -

My own CM's Guld! Some projects are grail items, some projects are for a challenge, and some are just things you never imagined possible. But isn't that what a hobby is for? I've been too busy to hobby very much, but I wanted to print this guy. I had a couple of frustrating print failures, but as usual, it was my lack of experience. I haven't printed a figure this big, and all it needed was stronger supports.

I always wanted to do that effect for the SDF-1 cannon. Is it a Tesla coil? Someone explain to me how safe that is? Is there no heat melting the plastic? -
Thank you Xigfrid. You inspired the idea. The bike is now up on my Patreon and Shapeways.

Very nice photography. What's your set up?

I check in for a minute to see what's up, and all I see is a masterpiece. Very nice dirt on that.

Don't know what it is, but looks pretty menacing.

What a beautiful plane. Reminds me of some Miyazaki airships.
