  1. I reached out to Hasbro Pulse after all I got as a response from Zavvi was that they received insufficient stock: If it really is a widespread issue and not just a couple vocal consumers it might be worth reaching out to Hasbro so that they know that there is a bigger issue. I was under the impression that Zavvi was just acting as a proxy and forwarding the numbers that they received to Hasbro but something went wrong.
  2. Got a notification that my HasLab Victory Saber I ordered during the funding period via Zavvi was canceled due to "insufficient stock". Apparently it is happening to other people throughout Europe that thought they backed the project through Zavvi too. Merry Christmas to me I guess.
  3. Wotafa's review of Legacy Evolution Tarn: I still think the proportions of the legs look awkward and he has visible hand syndrome but I sill look forward getting mine.
  4. I wonder what’s up with those big forehead crests. Leader Skyquake also has a massive forehead crest… …maybe a new design language?
  5. Well, you know… …with the refund you could make the anime-export preorder for the Sazabi less painful. I should stop giving people stupid, unwanted advise and go back to bed.
  6. Maybe they are contractually obligated to make that figure if they want to keep the Marvel (Disney) license.
  7. I’m super interested in that. Hopefully they find good writers so it doesn’t get to fanboy-y. Also the writers need to be able to convey that the 40k universe is not a serious setting. They need to subtly capture the irony of the universe. I wonder what the best approach would be. In my mind diving directly into the Horus Heresy wouldn’t be the best move. Too grand, too many characters and concepts for the average viewer. Maybe some smaller side story like in the Space Marine game would be the correct approach. Maybe a Firstborn Marine being transformed into a Primaris might be a good start to introduce 40k to people who are not super fans.
  8. They should have announced that earlier. Maybe I would have backed Deathsaurus to have a complete set of Micromasters.
  9. The good thing about MMC toys is that they don’t feel like Hasbro products; which is what I ultimately want. I would be careful with the IDW version since a higher number of units gad issues with the mechanism that keep the swing bars locked in robot mode, my own copy included. MMC was kind enough to provide replacement pieces but they might not have any more in the future. With Star Saber I was hoping for a fun toy to just pick up and play with. Which is an experience non of the other options offer. It looks like this is exactly what we are getting. Plus most of the available options are terrible so the HasLab Star Saber is in a good position of ranking high on my charts.
  10. I didn’t back one. I have the MMC IDW D-Zef for my Deathsaurus fix which I’m very happy with.
  11. Nice review Mike. I’m glad you had good look with QC on your copy. I hope mine is fine. I ordered through Zavvi and they said it was ready to ship. Hopefully I will have it before the holidays. [edit:] @M'Kyuun I think it would be great to get a Skyquake in the original G2 color (maybe even a Machine Wars Starscream).
  12. FansHobby is doing a G1 Darkwing/Dreadwind Buster/Hydra set. They are a bit stylized and I’m not a big fan of FansHobby products in general but they made it to the prototype stage: More images here: https://www.tfw2005.com/boards/threads/fanshobby-mb-24-dark-wing.1233082/ XTB also showed renders of a Buster (so in the Japanese colors) but nothing else.
  13. Anthony's Customs review for HasLab Star Saber is here: I was curious why they send out review samples for this toy since all units are already sold but Anthony's Customs goes a little bit into that since he talks about the conditions for getting a review sample and the one most important to Hasbro was mentioning the Deathsaurus HasLab project. So I would say Hasbro feared that Deathsaurus might not fund so the influencers should drum up some hype for it. Other than that, if you win the QC lottery, this will be a great toy. The chrome seems to be prone to flaking off though.
  14. If anyone missed out on the Truforce Mega Man X (original blue color), a new preorder for January 2023 popped up over at BBTS: https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/18158 It is still one of the best action figures (if not the best) in my collection so I highly recommend it.
  15. Those are good news. I would totally see a part 2 in cinemas (and buy the physical release too). While I didn’t like the CG over Alita's face (Rosa Salazar looks like a perfect Alita) it was a good movie.
  16. Thanks. I noticed the video above but I find it hard to spot what something really is or judge its quality in a video. Especially viewing it on my phone.
  17. Are the blue missile pod covers on Hayate's VF-31AX painted this time or are the same coarse, bare plastic like on Arad's VF-31S Armor Parts?
  18. I think the B-2 is still the better looking aircraft.
  19. The Gaming Historian released a video on Super Mario Kart: I really find it interesting how the game evolved from the first idea to the finished product.
  20. Saw this review for the (officially licensed) Heat Boys TMNT Leonardo mech. While I have the SHF Turtles for my collection the video convinced me to preorder their Shredder since Bandai did abandon their TMNT line after the four Turtles. So they will fight a Super Shredder like mecha on my shelves.
  21. I thought gorillas are apes not monkeys… …
  22. For those interested in HasLab Victory Saber but missed out and are willing to shop at TFSource. The store has put up a preorder for $240: https://tfsource.com/transformers-generations/victory-saber-commander-class-transformers-generations/
  23. I don’t know why they insist that Bumblebee needs to have a respirator face. I get that he is the face of the live action franchise but since the first Bay movie numerous other Transformers shows have launched and toys have been released were Bee‘s face was more in line with the rest of the Transformers. I feel that at this point it is hurting the live action movies because you can’t have a main character that has more emotion than a lap dog.
  24. Yeah, the last time they did such a large add-on set (the Red Powered 150 Gerbera Straight) it wasn’t a big hit and readily available afterwards if I remember correctly. I bought mine "cheap" from Mandarake. Regarding the stands: I like the regular Metal Build stands. I hope they don’t change much because I’m all for consistency in my display. I usually can get the poses I want out of them. The only issue I have is that the main arms are different (the Gundam 00 vs Seed arms) and that the 00 stands only connect at the underside of the waist piece. That way the 00 suits are always high in the air which takes up a lot of space. With the Seed stand arm you can get a lot of cool poses close to the ground, like a duel pose where one Gundam is below the other one, which you can’t really do with the 00 stands. I also wished that they all came with the same a-stance support arm.
