I have no problems with the color of the intake colors because the VF-19 from M7 looks like an anime super hero and not like a piece of actually military equipment unlike the YF-19. So it's totally okay for them to have bright colors.

I would be really sad if the re-issue would include a painted stand and head-lasers out of hard plastic. I have a bad feeling about this.

I don't have any Detolfs but the other "furniture" that I have from IKEA is easy to assemble and dissemble. Because of the amount of glass a Detolf has I would advise to dissemble it otherwise you might risk breaking the glass when you transport it. Be careful large panels made out of glass can break easily so pay attention during transporting. Just make sure you don't lose the included tools.

True. I also tried to find some screenshots of the YF-30 schemes but didn't find much. I don't know how hard it is to make screenshots from a PS3 but if someone can supply us with more images just do it. I really would love to see more of the YF-30.

You forget that Macross 2 is wiped from existence. So no love for Ishtar and no love for the VF-2SS. So it should be either Sharon Apple or Sarah Nome.

So you want a Masterpiece Jetfire that isn't a Valkyrie? If so no need to hate Bandai for owning the rights for the old Takatoku toys. I don't know what it is but the Jetfire toy was never Jetifre for me. Especially now that I know what happened in the 80s. Do you mind the question if you think that Classics Jetfire is an accurate representation of the character?

I honestly don't get that. I wouldn't sell this mode or the if I where Bandai. Besides I doubt that Takara Tomy (an thus Hasbro) are interested in a Masterpiece Jetfire that looks like a Macross Valkyrie. Transformers look like Transformers and not like Valkyries. Just because we got through curious ways in the 80s a Transformers toy that wasn't a Transformer and didn't look like his animation/comic counterpart doesn't mean it has today any relevance in building brand recognition from Takara Tomy (since they are the company that design the entries in the Masterpiece line). They even started to develop a own version of Jetfire that incorporates many design characteristic of the 80s toy but interpret them in the Transformers style. They even created a back-story why the toy has a face with a mouth plate (that looks like a VF-1S) and one without (some sort of mind-control helmet where the head lasers are antennas) that looks like the Jetfire from the cartoon. So if a Masterpiece Jetfire will be released it will be oriented on the Transformers design language and art style and most definitely not on something from the Macross universe. Although Transformers fans are known for their total and utter ignorance (relax guys just kidding ) most collector that are into the Takara Tomy Masterpiece line know what happened with the Jetfire toys from the 80s and know that it has nothing to do with Transformers and Jetfire himself. Perhaps most of them would rather have a Masterpiece version of the cartoon Jetfire because they know what a Macross Valkyrie looks like (unlike in the mid 80s). I personally would rather have a cartoon Jetfire as a Masterpiece. I mean why does Jetfire even has a "mid-transformation"-mode (i.e. Gerwalk)? Plus if you want a Masterpiece transformation-scheme for the G1 Jetfire Yamato is (or should I say was) the place ho go. The G1 Jetfire wasn't a Transformer to begin with so why not stick to the original?

Oh from what I've seen it is a good paint job and he modified the toy to a degree. If it's worth $500 has do decide every Jetfire fan for himself. But I would not be so rash in dismissing the custom.

I think Bandai owns the rights to the mold and they wont sell the rights to a direct competitor in the transforming robot business (i.e. Takara Tomy). Also I have do disagree. I think the Jetfire custom on ebay is stupid. Why add the bits of Classics Jetfire when the original from the 80s hast the same pylons, arm guards and face as the Takatoku VF-1 mold? I admit the paint job looks fantastic but it would look better without the added Transformers parts. Especially since the guns of the back thrusters are cast in a bendy plastic and tend to get warped. Unworthy of the Yamato VF-1 mold!

You need two more Valkyries in Fighter-Mode!

No that the game is out. Is it possible to switch the missile pod on the YF-30 against something else like say, a giant beam cannon?

Maybe you should mod your Valkyries with red, green and white LEDs and turn them on during Christmas season.

I think $96 is a good deal. And in Fighter-mode the VF-25 still holds up to the V2 especially with the Super Parts where the sagging legs are hidden. And Battroid is ok but I just can't get the crotch off my mind

Well it is a V1 after all. I hope you like it. The VF-25s look really good in Fighter-mode. In the other two modes not so much. And the biggest flaw of the V1s is the fact that thr V2s are around. Because when I first saw the first version of the VF-25 I thought they look awesome. Now I stare at it and all that comes to mind is: what is wrong with your crotch.

Well maybe they try to convince people now that they made such a good deal with the one Valkyrie to by another one overpriced now that they made such a good deal with the first one. But then only deliver the overpriced one because the other is already "sold" You know $50 for Valk 1 and $350 for Valk 2 equals $200 for each. seems like a good deal overall. Don't know if this is the case but if I would try to trick people then this was one way that came to my mind. I don't want to imply that the seller uses fishy business practices I just want to share my theory. So please take no offense.

Hihi, at the moment I'm restraining myself into buying only Macross Frontier Valkyries. And besides the stuff happening with Yamato/Arcadia at the moment I'm thinking: The Macross Plus Valkyries are nice and there are only three of them and I really like Plus so why not buy the YF-21, YF-19 and VF-11B. And then I think DYRL? is the most known part of Macross so a DYRL? Skull Squadron would be nice and that are only four Valkyries right? Then I think well DYRL? is good and all but I really like the VF-1J from the show so why not buy a Vermilion Squadron only three VFs, oh and an VF-1S for Focker. On the other hand M7 is probably my favorite Macross show and the VF-17/19 are marvels of engineering and I'm a fan of Max and Milia and that are *count* only five Valks. But If I'm collecting M7 Valkyries I need the VF-11CF and a Emerald and Diamond Squadron would be nice, and the Fast Packs but then I miss the VF-22S Gamlin type. And now my collection is only missing the VF-4 and since that was Yamatos masterpiece I should have one.... ...and then I realized that I need a better job. *application write*

Wouldn't it be a better business decision for Arcadia if they stat distributing painted and built Hasegawa kits of the Valkyries if all the nifty Perfect Transformation VFs end up in Fighter-mode anyway? That would end the whole line art discussion.

Well Gerwalk is an awesome mode in my opinion. I had my VF-25G setup so it looked like it was stopping its fast descent with full force while holding the sniper rifle. The legs were as forward as possible and as wide spread as possible so it looked like a huge bird of prey trying to grab his victim. Imagine a bald eagle with a building size rifle coming at you.

I like all of them. When I'm finished with the Macross Frontier display I have eight slots for the Valkyries 2 for Fighter 2 for Gewalk 4 for Battroid And I'm planning to rotate them all counterclockwise every month or so by one slot and transforming them regularly from one mode to the other so I don't need 9 VF-25S to display them in all modes. And to have the excuse to play with them more often. So I guess the right answer is Battroid.
