The wings need to be level so they don't get damaged in case the box is banged up.

But a T-shape takes up more space at an angle and don't forget the VF-4 has very long ventral fins and its upper canards that have to be packaged with care. It's not nearly as compact as a VF-25 or VF-171.

It appears to come with a bunch of skull logos. They're in the upper right corner of the sticker sheet.

The scientist guys stationed in the Asuka II say AFOS has got some weird powers. In other random observations... who is Tim Baker? Aside from the dead guy who loans his VF-0 to Shin of course.

Oh I found the hangup on getting the gullet plate in tight and corrected it. The gullet was staring me in the face the whole time.
