Yeah I already have a little ring mount that works great I just need a place where it can attach to a fighter.

Since the centerline gun pod mount was kind of problematic (especially with the ventral fin) how does a hardpoint adapter grab you guys? You could use this on other Valkyries with a similar hard point like the VF-1, VF-0, and Sv-51.

I'm still working on the replacement hands. Just got a sketchup plugin that I can use to make the fingers properly round.

Only certain things will fit in Battroid mode without rubbing against the folded canard. I'm not sure if I can move the mount outward without things starting to rub the engines in fighter mode.

It's basically a solid version of the hinged belly plates the toy comes with so you just pop the standard ones (transforming it tends to do that anyways) and put in the ones with the hard point. Any given missile pod or cluster is too big to leave on the figure while transforming it anyways so I figure a simple one part piece is okay.

It was a horrifying experience. I don't think there's much that can be done given how the toy is designed.

This works a lot better than I thought it would for my first try. Needs some adjustment and I'm not sure how thin I can make it and have it still be printable in Strong Flexible.

Sometimes he gets bored of wearing the same jeans with the same tank top everyday every night everywhere and needs to indulge his fangirl pleasing side.

Make sure the upper arms are level with forearm and than the shoulder itself is pushed up as far as it will go on the small swivel joint.

I used the twisting method in my video around the 6:00 mark.

They seem to on mine but I thought the issue was the ankles getting so loose by attempting this the toy just nosedived forward.

But I was doing that.

Well if the need is to display the ankles at extreme angles, I could try to make a part that clips around the metal rod part of the ankle and then braces itself against the inner part of the leg.

I wonder who wrote that.

Well I am not Bandai, but I feel there is plenty of evidence that suggests they are making enough units to get into the hands of their primary consumer base (I see a good amount of Japanese bloggers getting them) and that they are making enough money to invest into more Macross Chogokins. Whether or not they are providing enough for all the hungry gray market online retailers is a lot more muddy. They can only *make* a certain amount at any given time just due the sheer number of products they produce. I don't think we're getting anywhere by believing in the Illumirobboti.

I think you need to put the tinfoil hat away. Bandai is not full of Newtype salesmen.

Maybe it's supposed to be like old Godzilla movies where they had stuff like cheap model kits of Starfighters (bap bap baaaaaaaah) going against kaiju.

Maybe I'll try to make a stabilizer chock for the ankles with Shapeways.

I'm not much of a customizer.

Maybe I need a centralized thread somewhere.

Yeah there was no more need and it caused too much confusion.
