I dunno if anyone got their replacement parts yet but I got my copy of the revised piece and it works pretty well. I think I should probably fill in that gap that somehow Shapeways added to the part on the front. However, the screw now threads through the hole beautifully after a little bit of sanding for parts fit.

I updated them and put a little message saying they've been changed in the description. I saw someone did buy another pair so I hope they work this time.

Ok I went ahead and updated the part so that it should be fine now. I contacted Shapeways and informed them of this change so I would wait to hear a response from them before reordering.

Shapeways also sends me that same notice and says they will inform you when the product is ready. I'll be sure you let you guys know here as well! It's good to hear your toys are doing better.

Yeah I'll just try to fix it back to how it was. Stupid shapeways and their arbitrary printing tolerances. You may have to use a longer screw than what's in the arm already though.

Either white or black works well. Just be sure to do all your sanding before painting. I just used a sharpie marker just to demonstrate. The new part works perfectly when the arms are folded up too!

I'm just selling it as a single. I actually went to check to see if it works on both arms and I discovered Yamato just used the same part twice so you can just get two if you need 'em!

Alright it turns out I just needed to sand down the rail the bicep cover slides up and down on so now it works perfectly. I will try to tweak the rail a little bit but it will probably still need some light sanding to fit right. It's better to start out with more material to work with in order to compensate for Shapeways printing tolerances anyways. I should be able to get this part up for sale either today or tomorrow.

It needs some tweaking but it works pretty well. The only problem is the bicep sleeve doesn't fit yet. It's really tight and I'm not sure how much I can tweak the thickness of the bicep itself.

aw. That is very true. Josh especially has a pretty sizable collection in that cabinet to the left of him. Although to be honest when I go to his house I tend to gravitate towards the type of stuff I don't also have like his rare Standard Nikick from Orguss (which frustrated the hell out of me when I tried to transform it) and his Machine Robo stuff :3

Alright both parts printed and they're going to arrive Monday. Hopefully those YF-19s will get the right to bear arms again soon.
