    Yeah but it seems like the Megaroad-01 stuff came after he was already back into Macross. I don't really see the big deal anyway. The ultimate fate of the Megaroad-01 is never stated on screen to my knowledge so unless you're digging it's even less of an issue. One-line cover ups and teh lame

    What our esteemed mod is saying is that if he had a dime for every time someone demanded more about the Megaroad-01 then he'd have a lot of dimes. Officially, the Megaroad-01 went missing around 2016. In reality, Kawamori just does not want to deal with their fates after that.

    I'd they're the same design more or less but not the same airframe. Like all the parts are different shapes and sizes. Same airframe would imply something like the F-9 Cougar and F9F Panther. Unless the official descriptions say same airframe but that's more an error on the original text I suppose.

    Jeez you really had to agonize over confessing your love for the Macross most people like. When JoshB at CDX was telling me about watching 7 he said he really liked it. He is a big Plus fan but he told me and others that 7 is really the next logical step for Macross. Also he's a metalhead so all that J-Rock speaks to him.

    The DVD section on MW's main page (remember when that used to be what we came here for) has said the first R2 DVD of the Plus OVA has the Manga dub. Maybe they thought it was a good extra or something. I mean there have been R2 DVDs with subs so maybe they decided a dub may entice foreign buyers.

    Well yeah. I mean it's a G1 Optimus toy that's not some one-off collector's gimmick so it will come to America. A Hasbro version needs the trailer. It doesn't feel right without it.
