I really doubt i will be releasing new stuff. After i started studing music (playing guitar), i sort of lost interest in 3d modeling and drawing... The VF-11 model is unifinished, the planned was a full transformable version from fighter to battroid. Maybe there is a problem with my model, looking at your screenshot, at the cockpit there are hard edges where shouldn' be. Or the exported messed up with the normals.

From what i read before, you can't apply madstates to a turret joint. I don't know about the gundam mod, but it is easy to see if the moving parts are from a turret or not. Just see if it can auto-track a target. If the entire body is moving to align to the target then the animation is only at animation joints.

That's because you can only apply movements to "animation joints". The engine doesn't support movements to turrets, engine hardpoints etc...

Is there any chances that they may do some more episodes like the SDFM?? How it happened at the time??? The series ended and later they did up to ep. 36, or it was decided at the middle of the series??? -

Thank you but there is really no need at all. And you don't transform the hod. In the hod file you just have all the animation joints, they are there in idle position. When did the animations in the same file i exported the hod, the hod had errors. The problem with madstates is that relic never released an official sample with madstates!!!

Just oppened a site, http://sites.google.com/site/takmodels/ Download the yamato file, madstates are implemented there. But it didn't worked well in-game... But it worked! Also there is the ghost X-9, but the madstates never worked in-game. I also had the same problem with the relic tools. But i don't remember how to solve. If i'm right it has something to be with the script, i guess i had to load them manually before using...

I would recommend getting Maya 6.5 instead of 5.0. There are very nice plugins for it (like progressive mesh) not avaliable in Maya 2008, and almost no bugs. You just need to look at relic forum, i'm sure someone has compiled the plugins to 6.5. And it should be easier to find.

then you need to go to windows - > settings/preferences -> plugin-manager -> check the boxes of all the relic plugins. (hod exporter, don't know the names). But maya 2008 won't work with past versions plugins, so you would need a plugin that someone compiled to maya 2008.

If i'mt not wrong the IMFPSD.dll is just to import the photoshop texture files. Because at maya 5.0 it wasn't natively supported. I may be wrong but i guess at maya 2008 there is no need to use plugins to use PSD files. If anything just DL maya 5.0 or 6.5, tested and worked at 6.5.
