  1. It's nice to see Brawn and Beachcomber coming back, and I'm really digging Hound's makeover. Blurr doesn't look bad at all-it's sorta like a transforming Mach 5.
  2. I dunno about Texas, but it looks like Northern Cali also has em for $7.77. Yeah, Fracture's paint job can get horribly shoddy. It took me a while to find one which was halfway decent. The Walmarts around here have been inundated with all shipments of all kinds of TFs including the exclusives-but still no Animated Wave 4 or Ultra Magnus.
  3. There were some nice finds at the TRU today: got some Joes and snagged Classics Legends Jazz in all its G1 glory. Not a bad TF for $4. It looks like it'll fit right in with G1 Prime in terms of scale. I passed on Legends Onslaught and Megatron, but I would've snagged Hound if I found him.
  4. Nice lookin piece there, prometheum! So there I was in TRU all giddy in spying a Universe Galvatron package from the side, but upon getting it free from the peg, I saw that a Movie Jazz was mistakenly sealed inside. BOOOOO!
  5. That's Pathfinder, I played the heck out of that thing as a wee tyke.
  6. Dangit, I missed out on Blades, but I was able to snag Dropshot-he's not too shabby. The color scheme look better than Scattershot's IMO, and he looks kickass with all the ordinance in bot mode. And I agree; I like Galvatron's design, but he needs to be much larger.
  7. Nee-ha! Wave 3 is now complete; I lucked out and caught WalMart in the middle of a restock. The whole end cap was full of them, and it wasn't hard finding the ones I wanted since most of them seemed to be painted well. I haven't had a chance to open them, but Snarl is looking to be the fave of this line up. I just wish Soundwave and Jazz were a tad bigger; it's just kinda weird that Oil Slick has to be largest of them all. Also sighted was the humungous auto-transforming Prime. I love the size, but his sculpt is just awful IMHO. Anyways, I can't wait to get home and mess around with this latest haul.
  8. Could anyone near Milpitas, CA confirm if this has hit Golfland? That place seemed like a test bed for all of Capcom's arcade games. Ah, how I miss the old battlefield...
  9. Classics Prowl is turning out to be a crappily painted figure. I saw some at Wal-Mart and got the best of the bunch. That doesn't really say much since all of the Prowls had some sort of paint misapplication; uneven edges, splotches on clear parts, and lumpy spots on corners. I'm not really that meticulous, but compared to the paint quality on Sunstreaker and Tankor, Prowl is in last place. The Animated Leader figures were also on the shelves, and they weren't as big as I initially thought. I just might cave and get Megs-he looked pretty good!
  10. Those new Beagle pics are sweet! I haven't been this excited over a toy in a long time
  11. From Goodkind himself: http://www.terrygoodkind.com/news/news2.html Initial reports of Raimi being on board was great news but now with Disney funding everything, I'm having doubts now. Regardless, the first book was a great read and it will be interesting to see Richard and Kahlan working their magic on the small screen.
  12. Late to the party dood: http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=26540 Great pics in that link though.
  13. All red Powerglide is going to be one of the few examples where I prefer the Henkei version over the US counterpart. Casting realism to the winds, I'm all in for a red A-10. With the Movie line, Animated and Classics, I never knew I'd be spending this much on Transformers. And now with Alternity coming in, the hits just keep coming.
  14. If this plays anything like the PS2 Macross game, I will definitely have to import it. The first page has a shot of a Phalanx in a fight. You can use Destroids in this game?
