He will be the reason that Phil Donahue will never be invited to the Academy Awards. Sad news indeed.

No Tracks or Jazz over here, but I did see WFC Cliffjumper. Skullgrin and Thunderwing were also at a Target here in full force.

That's quite a lot you got there; nice finds, especially Reflector. Aside from Ebay, there are places like this that'll give you an idea of what people are willing to pay for each of them : Transformerland. I've only bought from them however, so I can't comment on how much they'd give you for your TFs. Regardless, I don't think you're gonna have too much of a problem finding them a good home.

Is anyone else sorely tempted to to get the Takara's United versions of the new figures? Overall they just look better, but those import prices are scaring me off. (Wheeljack looks so much better for that sculpt btw.)

In the same vein, Binaltech's Alert also looks great with Alphonse. So does KISS Players Autorooper, but it's a pain to find.

Curiosity got the better of me and I ended up getting the “Delicate Warrior” iGear is selling: I still don’t know who makes this figure, but it’s safe to say that it’s leagues better than Impossible Toys’ version. It’s very reminiscent of a kit that was sold in the 90’s. Paint apps are clean, joints are tight, and it has more feminine poise than IT’s Arcee. Its alt mode is kinda wonky, but bot mode looks great. Despite this, I still hope the rumors of a Generations Arcee come true.

This actually looks better than I thought it would: Neo Rodimus Prime. It looks like it'll suit the Classics version of Rodimus better than the Henkei one. I just gotta take a better look at the head. From afar, it looks kinda off.

CastleVania Lords of shadow
Valkyrie Hunter D replied to mustang1's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
The demo is just a sliver of what the game has to offer. However, there's nothing new in terms of mechanics; you'll get many flashbacks of Uncharted and Shadow of the Colossus. And if you're tired of the button mashing and magic from GoW and Dante's Inferno, then the combat system will be nothing new. If anything the combat system is more forgiving when it comes to timing compared to GoW. It's just wrapped up in a prettier package IMHO. -

Just went through this game yesterday. Sure it's a mish mash of several good games I've played within the past 5 years, but I had a blast with it. Gabriel's definitely a more appealing character than Kratos or Dante, and the visuals are gorgeous to boot. And the ending? Definitely an interesting one, and I won't go on to spoil it; but if Hideo Kojima had any influence on this game, I would say it shows at the very conclusion. -
Good find! Skystalker is the TF that made me fan of Scouts. Fun little bugger.

"What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets! But enough talk...have at you!" Eat your heart out Shakespeare.

This show reminds of the new Old Navy commercials on TV. Just creepier.

Finally, new TFs are hitting the stores. During the past 3 days, I snagged Megs, Red Alert, Dirge and Hailstorm at different places. And so far, I've only seen Breacher once but nada for Soundwave.

The Ghostbusters III Thread.

I wonder if this will bring Rick Moranis back to acting. -
So much good stuff indeed. Jazz is what I'm looking forward to the most. And once I do get him, I'll have to find a way to give him the oversized rear wing like his OG alt mode. So word on the street is that Wheeljack is going to be based on Tracks' sculpt. Wheeljack wasn't cool enough to get his own design? Boo!

And it would be just as hard to make them form Menasor. Wave 2 seems to be finally trickling into a Target nearby; I finally saw Tuner Skids, gimmick-Sideswipe, Elita-1, but no Hailstorm.

Well after going through this game once, I can say that it's a great effort, but it seems to fall short on a lot. The on-foot stages seemed like an afterthought, I mean the third FM allowed you to steal any piece of hardware whether it was a tank, heli, or wanzer. If there was a time to re-introduce that element to make FM cooler than before, this game was it! Instead, all there was for being on foot was a generic shooter with 4 enemy models. As for parts, I was hoping to see morre, maybe even a beam weapon or two, and considering where this game lies in the FM timeline, there's bound to be at least one in there. Also, this game was short. I was expecting Act VI to scroll in there, so I was little disappointed in findng that Act V was the finale. Regardless, the wanzers are pretty and so are the backgrounds, and combat was fast and fun. It just could've been so much more.

Meanwhile the big stores here have squat. I'm wondering if they're waiting for the walls of Ravages and Jetblades to come down before putting out the new stuff. If so, it'll be loong time before I see anything beyond the first wave of Generations.

Can the matrix accessory even be held by either figure?
-
Blow me down, this game doesn't suck as much as I thought it would. It's great to see updated designs of past wanzers, but overall, the graphics doesn't seem too far off from what a PS2 can do. Detail seems to be lacking in the character designs and inner workings. For instance, the cockpit interface for the wanzers seems to be ripped from cheap 80's sci-fi. It plays faster than the Armored Cores and the controls are tight and responsive. I've only been through the first act, but so far I've been having fun with it. I'm hoping this lasts through the whole game...

United WFC Megs looks great in gray, but I was disappointed to see that Generations Bumblebee and Prime are not brand new sculpts. Pfffft. We finally got something new on the shelves over here; I snagged Breacher and Insecticon today. And since TRU had a buy 2 get 1 free deal on Scouts, I was able to get Oil Pan too. On a side note, I also found GI JOE's exclusive Spirit Iron-knife. (He totally looks like an Ikari warrior!)

Indeed, Wreck-Gar does look awesome. I'm hoping he'll be in scale with the Junkions Fansproject is cooking up. You know what else is awesome? This guy: And of course, Superion had to meet him This set is so much fun. Not-Swindle in particular is an excellent figure: solid, articulate and fun to pose. My only complaint is that the helicopter looks ridiculous with FP's bits on it, so I'm gonna try and find a better place for them. Quality stuff; if I had this toy when I was 10 my head would've exploded.

Who wants another serving of Optimus? With Wreck-Gar on the side? More Generations figs
