Blow me down, this game doesn't suck as much as I thought it would. It's great to see updated designs of past wanzers, but overall, the graphics doesn't seem too far off from what a PS2 can do. Detail seems to be lacking in the character designs and inner workings. For instance, the cockpit interface for the wanzers seems to be ripped from cheap 80's sci-fi. It plays faster than the Armored Cores and the controls are tight and responsive. I've only been through the first act, but so far I've been having fun with it. I'm hoping this lasts through the whole game...

United WFC Megs looks great in gray, but I was disappointed to see that Generations Bumblebee and Prime are not brand new sculpts. Pfffft. We finally got something new on the shelves over here; I snagged Breacher and Insecticon today. And since TRU had a buy 2 get 1 free deal on Scouts, I was able to get Oil Pan too. On a side note, I also found GI JOE's exclusive Spirit Iron-knife. (He totally looks like an Ikari warrior!)

Indeed, Wreck-Gar does look awesome. I'm hoping he'll be in scale with the Junkions Fansproject is cooking up. You know what else is awesome? This guy: And of course, Superion had to meet him This set is so much fun. Not-Swindle in particular is an excellent figure: solid, articulate and fun to pose. My only complaint is that the helicopter looks ridiculous with FP's bits on it, so I'm gonna try and find a better place for them. Quality stuff; if I had this toy when I was 10 my head would've exploded.

Who wants another serving of Optimus? With Wreck-Gar on the side? More Generations figs

Voyager Bludgeon is having fun crossing swords with him on my desk. A fair match I would think. Once that head upgrade gets released for Deluxe Bludgeon, it'll look a lot better. Man, I'm having no luck finding anything new here. I ran into 3 MP Grimlocks, but that's it.

For deluxes, the Lambo twins are great, but Hound and Mirage are my faves. Ironhide would be up there as well if it weren't for the wonky alt mode. As for the gift set, I mainly got it for the sweet looking Cyclonus and consider the toon colored Rodimus and Galvatron as bonuses. But Galvatron really isn't that bad...
-
Does this mean skyrocketing prices for the black Rodimus repaints? Ugh.

"Achtung, Einhander kommt! Drei Sekunden bis Kontakt..." I'm still waiting for this venerable fighter to come out in some tangible 3-D form.
-
He sure was: Dome Zero car (1976). In the third pic down, the car has rims similar to the ones found on the Classics toy. No new TFA stuff here, including Rodimus and Ironhide. I can't find the Blazemaster repaint for Evac either.
-
Yup absorbing the Matrix apparently means gaining a few inches of height and getting more prominent cheekbones. I've been so used to how Classics Hot Rod looks in alt mode that I've forgotten how curvy the G1 alt mode really was. I'm really liking this MP, but would it be too much to ask for a figure of Daniel, a hoverboard, and a button that makes it play DARE?
-
Taken from a toy show in Japan: I guess Hot Rod IS in there.

I love you for doing this. That's all I have to say.

My sets are finally on their way from BBTS-can't wait! I know FP made a white version of the Superion add-on set which looked great when coupled with the Energon versions of the jets, so there's a good chance the same might be done for Bruticus.

Alt mode is one real funky looking gunship bristling with gatling guns and missiles-I like it! There is no mechanism to spin the main rotor, it just spins freely, but there are a couple of individual blades that have trouble locking into place. Transformation is very simple and the resulting bot mode looks just his cartoon counterpart. He's surprisingly articulate, and he sports quite a menacing look when all the guns are in place. The rear portion of his alt mode becomes a weapon that launches the rear rotor as a disc, and it launches quite far. He's a great toy, I just wish he was a little larger. Not bad for someone who just got 15 seconds of screen time!

After tinkering around with it, I feel like I got my money's worth with MP Grimmy. The only things I found wrong with mine is a big crinkle on the blue visor and some really tight knee joints. I might have to tighten up the hip joints a bit, but all in all it's a real fun toy. So at $60, I don't miss the pointy teeth and kitchen ware the Japanese version has.

Wow, x-mas in August! Quite a shipment came in: I'm gonna feel like a total ass if that Challenge at Cybertron set ever comes out in the U.S., but I didn't want to miss out on the best version of Henkei/Classics Cyclonus. It's not lavender like the Henkei nor does it have the chrome wings, and it's not as dark as the Classics version-it's a fair color balance bewteen the two. Rodimus looks ok and Galvatron looks just fine in his OG colors in bot mode, but I may not like seeing an all white Merkava tank as an alt mode. As for Blackout and Grimmy, I can't wait to open them!

Your best bet is to go to their site and order directly from their shop. Incidentally, they're offering pre-orders for a KO of Impossible Toys' not-Arcee figure. It looks leagues better than IT's lackluster offering, but it costs $100 .
-
Yep, it's the one in Sunnyvale, CA. Really it's just the traffic I face when going there after work that's scary. It's the one where I got Arcee, so I'm hoping I get the same luck with Rodimus.
-
Yup, mine's coming down the pipe also-woot! Now if they can they do the same for TFA Rodimus and Ironhide, I'll be set. I just don't like going down to the TRU over here, especially since it's haunted...
-
Maybe you can just save the money and wait until TF3 comes out. Leader Prime will surely have a toy, and he might even have a trailer then.
-
It's Prime as the Rolling Thunder vehicle from G.I. Joe.
-
Third party companies sure have come a long way: Xovergen. I wonder if this got Don Figueroa's o.k.?
-
If it's scratched and oxidized, you might not have a choice but to strip it and do it over.

Having found it today, I can say Brimstone is a great Scout. He reminds of a zombie with his lanky limbs and the lack of a lower jawbone. His spindly design allows for great posability, but it also makes him a tad more fragile. In particular, the shoulder ball joints are super tight on mine and they're also on the thin side, so I have to be more cautious moving them around. Anyways, he's a great addition to the growing Scout collection, and he's everything Cy-Kill wanted to be.

I like the new alt mode for Scourge. It looks more like an aircaft than the original's, which looked like a casket with boosters. I can't say much about the bot mode as I cant make out some details. There has been talk saying the pictured bot mode is mistransformed.
