  2. Remember when fans were asked to name the new valk for the then-upcoming Frontier series? IIRC, I tossed in the name Durandal in there. Hmmm...
  3. A friend of mine just lost his boat docked in Santa Cruz this morning when the waves hit. But the worst that happened here is a pittance compared to what Japan is going through. I'm happy you guys are ok, stay strong!
  4. DOTM Skyhammer's aesthetic doesn't look like it belongs with the other DOTM TFs. That would make only a total of three DOTM toys I'd be interested in buying.
  5. Yeah, it's weird how Classics BB got 5 or 6 repaints yet Cliffjumper never even got a Takara release. No Grapple, not even Lugnut. Can't wait for Windcharger though.
  6. Heads up for those in Northern CA: finally, mixed in with the wall of Mindwipes and Fallbacks, I found the next RTS wave at Target! I picked up a Wreck-Gar, Perceptor, and G2 Prime. They must've had a few assortment cases arrive since were a quite a few Bumblebees in there. Of slim pickings were Perceptor and Wreck-Gar. BTW, I was disappointed to learn that the future store listings for an Arcee figure is for TF Prime, not Generations. It looks good, but G1 Arcee still doesn't have an official HasTak toy.
  7. The theater, crap-I completely forgot about that place. I was thinking you watch the episodes by downloading them from the PSN store. According to the link BP posted, the SDF-1 should appear after viewing 6 episodes. Well, off to the theater I go...
  8. I made a JP PSN account to try it, but I couldn't find anything Macross related. Maybe the promo is over?
  9. Is that a Cobra trooper holding a smart gun from Aliens? I'm gonna have to get one just for that gun.
  10. I'm trying to do the exact same thing through the wonder of styrene and earth magnets. Jazz will become a parts-former, but I'm ok with it. I'm just having trouble finding a spot to put the spoiler parts in bot mode. And yes, the lack of detail on Jazz is disappointing, but I still love him to bits.
  11. Thanks for the offer, but I went for instant gratification and snagged a used one for $8. DH, separate threads for at least the big consoles would be ideal. It would be easier when discussing all the details for each one instead of rummaging through a general gaming thread. Maybe separate them via manufacturer? (Sony Gaming, MS Gaming, etc.)
  12. I was muddled there for a bit; I was thinking my fat ps3 had a slot for a ps2 card. Guess I'm in the market for an adapter. Thanks for input, gents!
  13. I was thinking of copying my ps1 save onto a ps2 card using a ps2, then finally loading that ps2 card on the ps3 to copy the ps1 save. Feasible, right? Now when is Einhander getting on board?
  14. The little red tank that could: Next-gen Warpath. Whether it's Warpath or not, it looks like the turret is facing the wrong way.
  15. Front Mission 3 on PSN? Yes please! I have to find a way to get my old saves in there though.
  16. If you read the manga, some disappointment is in order. Kei is just not that big of an a-hole in the movie. In fact, everyone in the movie has been toned down; they don't seem as despicable as their comic counterparts. Granted, a LOT of elements were taken out, but the overall tone is a more positive one than the nasty, cynical, and dark atmosphere of the comic. However, the film by itself without drawing any comparisons to the comic is satisfactory. A friend who had never heard of Gantz before thought the film felt like a big Twilight Zone episode.
  17. Yep, the voice acting was cringe-worthy during a lot of scenes. That's my biggest gripe with the movie-I was really hoping for subtitles. Otherwise, the costumes and effects were well done considering the budget, and Kishimoto was a real cutie. The guys I went with who have never read Gantz seemed to enjoy themselves and are now curious about the manga.
  18. A couple of friends and I are gonna catch this in San Jose. It should prove to be interesting. Cheesy, yet interesting nevertheless Here is the theater listing: Gantz venues
  19. Yep, Iron Man is as good as bought if just to square off with my Revo Batman.
  20. I got the last Jazz in a Target over here. Like everyone else has said, he's pretty cool. I was considering fabricating a rear spoiler similar to the old Porsche 935's for his alt mode, but after getting a good look at how he transforms, it's gonna be a lot harder than I thought.
  21. An interesting concept: upload a 3-D model of something you would like made. If it's viable, these guys will fabricate it with a 3-D printer for you. A couple of hobbyists have already set up shop and are selling their creations from Warhammer 40K, Star Trek, and Transformers. Needless to say, there is some really cool stuff on the site for sale, especially in the Miniatures section.
  22. I like Daft Punk, and I loved the music they put together for this film. Actually, the whole soundtrack sounded really good. Overall, a good 3-D movie, but I would've liked more action sequences. Especially if they involved the tanks. And yes, it felt really laggy at times but I couldn't get my mind off one thing: there's roast pork in the Grid?
  23. Man, it's about time Kaiyodo: Revo Gunbuster Ack, nevermind. I didn't even see the Revoltech thread!
  24. 1/35 scale Assault Suit Leynos...I need this.
  25. Not happy with Voyager Bludgeon's head sculpt? Check out Headrobot's new project: Blood.
