    Well, that's just it, it shouldn't be part of the kitsch. There's a lot of hate towards RotF Jetfire for the same reason, and it's been said that Jetfire had to be designed that way to make room for all the light and sound gimmicks. TFC had no such restrictions, and their Silverbolt still came out looking like a brick with a plane on top, so it's a big disappointment for me. I dunno, I guess after being wow'ed by Hercules, I was expecting better things. Am I still buying it? Seeing the rest of the team and combined mode will pretty much seal the deal.

    After seeing the latest pics of TFC's Silverbolt, it seems David's photo isn't too far off... The sixth member of Uranos looks weird. If they really wanted a chest piece, I think it would have been better to do some parts-forming from the other team members.

    I gave up on finding the Vehicons a while back, as I'm not willing to pay the third party party prices for them. BTW, MP-10 is up for pre-order on TRU.

    I got myself a MP-10 for a relatively good price this week, and I'm really liking it. Easy transformation and a whole more fun to tinker around with than Faith Leader. I still prefer my MP-01 due to overall heft and fun factor, but nevertheless, MP-10 is sweet. The only thing that irks me about it is the legs can't seem to stay together securely in alt mode, and I can't figure out why. All the the parts seem aligned well enough, but it just separates enough to bug the heck out of me. Does anyone have a similar issue with theirs?

    So apparently the TRU exclusive Thundercracker has some weird G1 tampo printing going on. I love G1 and all but those markings just made TC an easy pass for me.

    Mine was "Aw, why are Fireflight's wings black?" Yeah, the use of the SR-71 is disappointing, I was hoping that TFC would use the Concorde or maybe some jet with a lot more mass to accommodate Superion's bulk. It could even have been a jet of original design or the Firefox. I've always secretly hoped that a company would make sweet looking TF of that bird.

    I like this version better: now with matte finish! I admit, the new 52 thing irked me, but I'm considering this toy to be my comic Batman centerpiece.

    I am realy liking the way FP's Stunticons are shaping up, and it's good to finally see something to back up the rumors. Can't wait to see how FP designs a formula racer with Dragstrip. It looks pretty good, which version of Prime do you think he pairs up with best?

    Well, he won't be replaced by the new Generations one, that's for sure. It's just that some tabs don't stay in place, making his chopper mode a little flimsy. His leg joints have also gotten loose making bot mode unstable when I pose him around, and that gets compounded by his small feet. Sure Arcee can get away with the dainty feet, but Springer needs some bigger stompers to hold all that weight.

    So after all the news from SDCC, the ONLY thing I really want is FoC Grimlock(!!). I'm also stoked for First Edition toys coming back. I was sooo close to pulling the trigger on a FE Prime from Ebay (shiver).

    I'm really considering getting this: G1 Bumblebee reshell. I've seen a couple of great looking customs just like it and I was going to do something similar. But getting this would just cut down a lot of work!

    No floppiness with mine, but I do have a hard time standing her straight up due to her dainty feet. She does have a display stand inculded, and I have her in far more stable poses anyway, so her small feet isn't an issue. Any Hardhead fans around? The guys who made Hegemon may be making a next-gen version: Toyworld. I'm actually more excited about their Throttlebot on the same page. Rollbar never looked so good.

    The Arcee that Igear distributes is a great rendition of G1 Arcee. Very posable with a lot of femme poise, and the head sculpt nails her look IMHO. It's kind of a mess when you look at the underside of its alt mode and see exactly how everything folds up-very much like a garage kit, but it works. And yes, the jets look awesome. I would buy Fireflight by itself just to have a cool looking transforming Phantom. I don't like how Air Raid's nose cone splits though. I'm wondering if its a gimmick to show off plane detail or just part of the transformation mechanism.
