  1. You're not helping, Hobo! It's crazy how many licenses Hot Toys is sitting on. Heck I'm still waiting on their Captain Harlock.
  2. I was afraid to ask. Besides, cash was low that day and I had to get going. I spent a good 5 minutes just gawking at it though. I had a similar incident with ED-209, but it may have been for the better with all its cracking issues and whatnot.
  3. Um, can someone make me NOT want Hot Toys' Iron Monger? I got a good look at the dang thing at Frank & Sons and now I really want one. I figure it would look great with my Iron Man and War Machine, but I already blew my toy allowance on the VF-4
  4. I know its kinda weird to have a space helicopter, but I would love to have seen an Ajax from Southern Cross made in some kit or toy form. Ooh, and Wanzers! Front Mission mechs need big scale love.
  5. Whoops, I meant at least 1/18 scale to be in scale with GI Joes! What I've always been waiting for is a model of Riding Bean's car. Rally's ride is easy to find enough, but the Roadbuster is just too obscure I reckon.
  6. Another vote for Madox, preferably in 1/35 scale for awesome anti-tank scenes. Gawd that would be glorious. Hyper Unit Dangaioh, anyone?
  7. That explains a lot; I liked Galaxy Force Prime too. As far as IDW designs goes, if HasTak makes that killer looking Megatron that has a stealth bomber alt mode, I'm all for it.
  8. I wasn't going to buy any of the Beast Hunters stuff, but the new OP is growing on me, especially with the Star Saber in hand. He sure does look angry though.
  9. I don't think they are going to be releasing their version of Soundwave with the new MP coming out. It looked horrible anyways with all the engraved detail they added to it. Shockwave looks good, but it does need some gray in the torso area to break up that solid mass of purple.
  10. Wow, it's that kind of nerd rage that makes me ashamed of my hobbies sometimes.
  11. Yup, my PS2 is still kickin. Proud to say my Saturn and Dreamcast are still spinning as well, though my VMU batteries are probably dead now.
  12. After 12 years, Sony has finally pulled the plug on the PS2. My original model is still going strong, even after being modded. I really hope it lasts because I still have a lot of parts to collect in Front Mission 5! Thanks for the good times Sony, I really wish your latest model was as durable.
  13. Awwww yeah, HLJ's got mine waiting in the wings. I love getting toys I can't tell the girlfriend about!
  14. There's a bumper crop of Thundercrackers here too. I'm guessing they'll be clearance aisle fodder very soon. Hollow legs and electronic gimmicry aside, FoC Grimlock looks great. He just might make me toss out Classics Grimlock.
  15. Speaking of Megatron, is there any chance the new mobile game will get toys? Because their version of Megs is something I've been wanting in a new Megatron.
  16. Say, does TRU's MP-10's legs stay firmly together in alt mode? I ask because my Takara MP-10 has some trouble keeping the legs firmly in place as a truck.
  17. I should buy a lotto ticket; I actually found a couple of Vehicons today-woot!
  18. The new Mobine thing actually makes some of the PCCs look decent. I'm wondering if the two tanks can combine into one big one though.
  19. I have been a proponent of this ever since Munitioner and Explorer came out. I really hope it happens, because everytime I try to think of ways to NEATLY turn PCC Heavytread into Brawl, I get a headache.
  20. Art Feather’s Bumblebee came in the mail yesterday. Here’s a mini-review: Included in the box is a silver gun for Bee, an in-scale figure of Spike and his lunchbox (I think), and a sticker sheet. Pros: -Excellent looking alt mode, it’s the VW Beetle HasTak will probably never bring out. -Details like wipers and mirrors are a nice touch. -The finish on the re-shell parts is very glossy and feels crisp, like it won’t melt on your fingers (i.e. Classics Prowl and Ironhide) -Rubber tires! I don’t think MP Sideswipe even has rubber tires. -No floppiness, the joints are quite tight on this one. Cons: -Front tires rub against wheel wells, preventing them from rolling. -Chromed out parts for knees and part of the chest frame. The chrome works for the bumpers, but I don’t like it in bot mode. -Plastic bot parts clash with the re-shell alt mode parts-they’re just a teensy bit more vibrant than the banana yellow car shell parts. -Head reminds you this is still a knockoff. It lost some detail compared to its Classics counterpart (badly sculpted mouth, lack of yellow “chin”, no light piping-eyes are painted on) All in all, I like it. I was already planning a custom re-shell of Bee so this saves me a ton of work. Additionally, I can manhandle it like Classics Bee-something I probably wouldn’t be able to do with any custom attempt on my part. I figure a little Dremel work and some parts swapping with Classics Bee will fix most of my gripes. And swapping parts should be easy because except for the re-shell parts, all the bot mode parts match.
  21. That's not very assuring in regards to Sideswipe. It's weird, MP-12 is as G1 accurate as Sideswipe has ever been, and yet I still prefer the Classics sculpt in some aspects. I guess I'll just have to wait until I get MP-12 in hand to see which one I keep.
