  1. That's it! That's the weird looking "Ingram" I saw long ago. While I'm not really stoked over the re-design (maybe it's a prototype for the iconic Ingram), I'm hoping it will spur on more merchandise. Like a Yamato (ahem) Arcadia 1/24 Griffon. I want one sooo bad.
  2. I could've sworn an attempt was made for a live action action movie years ago during the 90's. It didn't go through, and I remember the police labor being ugly as sin. This new ingram just looks a few notches better.
  3. Seeing how they treated Uranos, TFC's Divebomb just might turn into a chicken. Check these out. Not knock offs per se, and I am seriously tempted to get that bot/tank/scorpion triple changer on principle alone.
  4. I was thinking the shoulder cannons on two of the bots look like Predaking's feet, and the guns on the left most bot look like Predaking's back cannons. Just a guess.
  5. +1 on both Valkyria Chronicles and Demon Souls series games. Great challenges on both games, but polar opposites in terms of environment. I highly recommend Xcom Enemy Unknown. It's kinda watered down from the old PC games, but it's still a blast to play.
  6. Nice, that's quite a feat for an original custom. However, if MMC stays true to form, their version is what I'm getting. Y'know, I really like what Reprolabels does, but sometimes they make a figure look quite garish.
  7. Lovin Prowl, and his shoulders definitely look Binaltech-y. And I actually wouldn't mind the "patorol" printing.
  8. I'm liking the orange MMC chose for it; it's not that glaring, almost flourescent color that the Unique Toys counterpart has. Speaking of which, it is true that the Unique Toys Predaking is a mass-produced version of a fan-produced custom?
  9. I have many precious AnimeCon memories thanks to him, this is truly sad news.
  10. Their pages are gone now-I guess they ran out of stock. I reckon the RiD version was chosen over FE due to it's simpler transformation, but those ugly peg holes are useless if it doesn't come with appropriate accessories. If there was ever an upscaled KO I would totally support, it would have to be an enlarged Windcharger from the scout class RTS sculpt. Love that little guy.
  11. Arrgh, still no Grimlock in my part of the woods. Speaking of over sized Primes: Super sized RiD Prime. They got a biggified Wheeljack too.
  12. Yup, it's just a downward spiral from here on out, but it's a fun ride!
  13. I finally got my hands on mine, and the VF-4G has quickly risen to the top of my favorite valk list. There's a lot of nostalgia behind that, but the chunky battroid mode along with the graceful, elegant lines of fighter mode also won me over. If this is Yamato's swan song with valks, they certainly went out on a fantastic note. By the way, those Flashback and Focker customs look great!
  14. For MP-04, I think you'd be hard pressed to find one for its original price of $200 right now, and eBay prices for it are ridiculous at $450+. Use that as a gauge and weigh it against your own budget. MP-04 looks nice when standing with the Alternators and Binaltechs, but is completey oversized with the Henkeis and Classics. Scale and Transformers don't really mix, but MP Starscream and Soundwave look fine standing up to MP-10. MP-10 is still the tallest of the three, but not by much. And yes, MP Lambor will fit in MP-10 trailer. Would I trade MP-04 for an MP-10? No. Sure MP-10 has a much better alt mode and will be the size standard for all upcoming MPs, but MP-04's size and and heft makes it a great stand alone piece for OP. I also like its blockiness and chunkiness in bot mode, and the little gimmicks are just icing on the cake.
  15. I always thought the gray area with the red stripe was his hind quarters, but I guess it's his "calves". I remember seeing that thing in Target thinking it was a lazy transformation for something so big. Just bend the big guy over and voila-instant alt mode. I beginning to think the stock pic for the new Metroplex's fortress mode shows it as being mistransformed. The black ramp that extends out of his chest just looks wrong against his right leg.
  16. <snort> I wonder what kind of sweet action Metroplex got in that pose. Sorry, I'll stop now.
  17. Well, at least the new one isn't bent over on his knees with his butt in the air in alt mode:
  18. Holy crap, I never thought I'd see another Guyver toy. And a good looking one at that.
  19. Yep, I do love IDW's take on Megs, but it really should have been Voyager sized. I'm glad Hasbro is taking on full blown triple changers, but Springer is the only one I'll be getting at his point.
  20. From NY Toy Fair- New Voyager Springer looks pretty dang good! Well, bot mode at least... Voyager Blitzwing, with TFA inspired face: Stealth bomber Megs!! Deluxe sized though. Finally! Trailblazer <ahem> Trailcutter:
  21. I picked up Arkham City Bats and Catwoman today, and after seeing the atrocious paint job that male Shepard got, it's hard to believe they came from the same company. They both look great, especially Catwoman-it's the best looking figure she's ever had IMHO. By the way, if you're in the Bay Area in CA, Legends in Vallco Mall will give you 20% off if you buy both Bats and Selina.
  22. , This store has Hegemon: Chimungmung. I got my Art Feather Bumblebee from them, no hassles. Apparently, there are already KO's of Hegemon, so that may explain the difference in color.
