  1. Eh? Assault Suit Leynos remake? Color me intrigued.
  2. I'd buy it. If just to have an official G1 Arcee...
  3. After playing around with it for a while, I can say Whirl is a decent TF. His bot mode in all his spindly, goat legged glory is a refreshing rendition of the G1 counterpart, and sets it apart from the original Dorvack design. As far as his alt mode is concerned, I was really hoping the gap between the leg assembly and cockpit in all the promo shots was just a mistransformation, but if you follow all the transformation directions, there's no way around it. The landing skids are also set too far back, which makes for one already bulky looking helicopter even goofier. Unfortunately, the skids aren't easily removable, they're molded into the legs. Moving them farther forward would involve snipping them off, sanding, and gluing-which kinda sucks. To make things worse, the skids have such a low clearance that they can't accommodate a gun attached to the nose. Despite those weak areas, it's still a fairly convincing helicopter mode, probably the best a tf has ever had, but it still can't hold a candle to the original Ovelon Gazzette.
  4. Whirl is hitting the Target over here. Got the last one today hiding behind some Prime voyagers.
  5. That can't be Deunan. It looks like they just gave their Leon Kennedy figure boobs.
  6. The fact that that FT plans to include those nasty clogs for MP-8 leads me to believe that they will not be making their version of Grimmy. Maybe those other 3P dinobots will be smaller to compliment MP-8..
  7. This pic certainly gives a good perspective on how big Warbotron's Bruticus is. And he is certainly a big sumbitch. Before I even consider plunking down the cash for this, I'm gonna have to see how it will all hold up.
  8. Nevermind, nothing to see here. Still waiting for that MP Jazz...
  9. Yeek, the rarely seen SBD technique!
  10. CM's stuff was hit or miss. Mostly miss. I will never forgive them for what they did to Mekanda. However, their Patlabor Ingrams are great toys, and they were the only company that ever made a figure of the Peacemaker labor. RIP CM's, I was rooting for you (just so you could release that Zillion Tri-Charger).
  11. Schweet. They even managed to get a wheel on his back in bot mode.
  12. If you want a Devastator that will tower over your deluxe figures, it might be for you. Hercules is quite sturdy and I have no problem manhandling mine. However, I still prefer Maketoys' Giant. He may not be as tall as Herc, but the individual bot modes of each limb are generally more articulate and look better than Herc's counterparts imho. And by a slight margin, Giant's combined mode looks better to me.
  13. This is reassuring. It's been getting fairly good reviews on various sites too.
  14. Please don't suck, please don't suck... Did anyone else see the gameplay footage of X for the Wii U? (X footage at around the 35:00 mark) Combat is defnitely Xenoblade-ish.
  15. I'll be throwing a fit if Sherlock wins out.
  16. Finally some pics of Roadbuster, and it looks like a new sculpt too!
  17. Yeah, it was the same for me, but I never thought about taking a recording of it. I should have, considering how rarely I saw the machine. Well, not EVERY stage, he biffs it on 2-2 and later on, but I never knew you could "bump" your way through the statues on the Mandara boss! Those things always drove me nuts.
  18. FIRE IT UP! FIRE IT UP! I really want one, but I'm kinda dubious of the durability of that leathery material.
  19. I have always had a deep distaste over that Robocop game ever since my childhood 7-11 store replaced the SHINOBI machine with it. SHINOBI was soo much better... I only saw this game twice during my youth in all the arcades I've ever been to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_LY94PmqmA I remember thinking it was the bestest game ever. Now that I got it to finally work on MAME, it almost brings a nostalgic tear to my eye when I boot it up.
  20. Not too shabby, I'm really liking the helmet. Is this a voyager or leader class size?
  21. Nice, it's official!
  22. Yup, the 770. I haven't run any games on it yet, but I am setting my sights on Titanfall to be the first one. And it was reassuring to find out that demos for Titanfall were using the 770 card. I'm also waiting for GTA V (It'll happen!). For now I'm just getting all my emulators up and running from my old computer. How does it measure up? I really don't know, I mean I haven't really ran anything that can showcase its specs. Numbers-wise, it's got a i7-4800MQ @ 2.7GHz, 16GB RAM, and the GTX 770M card. So yeah, I haven't really seen anything from this thing that blows me away, however, it is SOOO good to finally play Asura Blade in such a smooth and silky fashion on MAME.
