  1. Ack, I just got the HLJ payment notice for this...totally forgot my pre-order.
  2. Sweet-an official sequel, definitely checking it out.
  3. The cat girl anime you're thinking of is Dominion, by Shirow-great manga.
  4. Much props to Hasegawa in helping keep Macross alive. Crossing my fingers for a TV version down the line.
  5. Nope, I don't have any old Zillion publications, just a couple of CD's somewhere in the garage. Regarding the new Tricharger, I never saw a pic of the actual toy. Just this saved pic from a Wonderfestival in 2012: Speaking of nostalgia, check this out this new release, just saw it on HLJ:
  6. There is so much good stuff that CAN be made from so many awesome titles, I can never have enough. It's just that making the stuff is probably considered too risky a venture for an already niche market. On a related note, it's too bad CM's went belly up as they had plans to make a new TriCharger toy from Akai Koudan Zillion. And I too still shed tears over the ill-fated Beagle Houquet ride armor.
  7. Fansproject has finally put up pre-orders for Steel Core's trailer. Apparently it's a limited edition run, but it also gives a second chance to get Steel Core himself.
  8. I wasn't much of a Terrorcon fan, but UT's Abominus just might make me one. So many temptations coming out real soon: Maketoys' Metroplex, their Computron set, UT's first Terrorcon...it's enough to make me reduce the xmas budget!
  9. Regarding Feral Rex, does anyone know why MMC started their numbering system with R-02? Is R-01 going to be extra parts or did I just flub in counting all the limbs?
  10. I have a new found respect for papercraft now, simply awesome!
  11. So how do you make the most of a sculpt that didn't originally have a repaint in G1? Make a new character using that sculpt with a Diaclone reference! I think Exhaust looks awesome, I'm definitely in for one.
  12. You gotta show off Matsumoto's sketch!
  13. Wow, I had the same idea to have Aramaki sign my Beagle Cyclone. Congrats, I would treat that thing like a treasure.
  14. People can be such prudes. I can guess I always look to 3rd party companies for some Arcee and Chromia action.
  15. An interesting move: Hasbro allows licensed, fanmade Shapeways products.
  16. Yes, I will support them if they make products like that SD SDF-1: items that would probably never make it past concept sketches on Arcadia's or Bandai's desks due to limited resources or it being a risky venture. I may have to rely on 3rd party company in the future to finish out the line of 1/60 Destroids... However, in the VERY slim chance that a 3rd party company out there makes a beautiful valk that could outmatch the likes of Bandai or Arcadia, I would probably buy one.
  17. No, I couldn't any days off. Tell Mr. Aramaki he designs the best frakking mecha around!
  18. I'm not familiar with Quickswitch or Sixknight, but the idea of Fansproject doing a six-changer does sound enticing. I love the third photo of it wielding two guns while doing a sexy walk.
  19. I haven't been to a Japan Expo, and I think this is the first one. As far as autographs are concerned, I don't know if it's going to be a first come first serve basis, or if the staff will hand out tickets or something to that effect. Either way, expect long lines, and how many people end up with signatures ultimately depends on the mood or health of the guest. But man, I would love a signed copy of Aramaki's Design Works. Looking more into it, it seems Japan Expo started just last year.
  20. Official website: Japan Expo Guests of note include Street Fighter artist Daigo Ikeno, Izumi Matsumoto- author of Kimagure Orange Road, and the man himself, Shinji Aramaki. I would go just to get a signature from Matsumoto, but alas, real life gets in the way again.
  21. Kurisama, you guys have to give this thing a nice solar yellow paint job, and not a banana yellow one. Just like how Henkei Sunstreaker looked much better than the Classics version. Regardless, Spinout looks kick ass.
  22. It sucks that parts of this valk are so faulty. I would happily plunk down the cash for two of these valks plus armor parts if they were a lot more solid.
