    Maketoys' Headmasters are looking real good. They just revealed their take on Hardhead, and it looks so much better than Toyworld's version. It even looks to have working treads.

    I still remember fawning over the screenshots in magazines of Japanese Mega CD games that never made it stateside like Shadowrun, Lodoss War, and Annette Again.

    I got much love for the Sega CD. Never got to play Shining Force CD, so I'm actually playing it on an emulator now.

    Well if we're going into the very FIRST console we've owned, I am proud to say that my ColecoVision served me well through my olde gaming times of yore. On a black and white TV no less. That thing had the funkiest controllers I've ever encountered; stubby joystick, huge rectangular base, and a big ol' keypad that I never used.

    Genesis for me. A friend had the SNES, so we just played each other's games from time to time. Countless hours spent with my Herzog Zwei and Phantasy Star II, and his Zelda and Chrono Triggger. Good times.

    They can't be ALL masterpiece quality, kiddies are and will always be the target. And with parents giving feedback stating TFs were getting far too complicated, current toys aimed for the kids will be even more on the simpler side.

    Didn't early Hi Metal promo ads hint towards a VF-2SS? With Evolution Toy making one, maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to revisit that idea.

    Remember when Hasbro would give free toys from proofs of purchase from certain cereals, or from points from TF purchases (GI JOE did this too)? Well my cousin gave me his G1 Jazz from one of their giveaways since he wound up with two, so Jazz was my first TF.

    I almost shat out of joy when I saw pics of the alt mode, but seeing the lower legs in bot mode left me wanting. Regardless, it's great to see something like this.

    It's essentially Technosoft's Herzog Zwei, which is already a kickass game in itself. I downloaded the free version of AA, and it is a fun game, but I haven't paid for all the extra bits yet.

    +1 for the Animated toys. It's great how they resembled their stylized bot modes and accurate alt modes. Too bad it was nixed, I would've loved to have seen where they were going with Sari.

    Incidentally, HLJ also put up their preorder listing for the Legends version of the upcoming Ultra Magnus.

    Great animated tribute to Flash Gordon there. And for the record, the 80's Flash Gordon movie has one of the greatest movie soundtracks ever made. Right up there with Highlander's.

    According to BBTS, Apollyon's second run will have no changes and will cost $15 more. WTH? That pretty much ruins my wait and see approach towards this thing.
