  1. I can't say I was ever a really big TMNT fan, but I do know that the Shredder didn't get much love in toy form. Behold OrakuSaki.
  2. Mega lame extras.
  3. Yeah, Maketoys has been quiet on any future Headmaster releases so far. I will say though that Iron Will is an excellent figure and in my head canon, goes well with FP's Code since he's a big 'ol tank. Everybody back in the day had Hardhead it seemed, and I was no exception. He was one of my faves as a kid, so I took it real hard when he was lost during a move. To get him back in a fully articulated form while still retaining all his blockiness is a joy. AND he has working treads. WORKING TREADS!! So if you feel like getting a particular figure first, Iron Will is a great place to start.
  4. I think I want this. I'm guessing Buzz will get gattai action of his own later on.
  5. Valks are so much more fun to play with when they have dancing partners-loving my Glaug and Regults! Now I want me some missile pod Regult variants.
  6. If you saw Zybots, chances are good that Convertors were found on the same peg/shelf. This was a common occurrence in stores like Walgreen's, Long's, or even grocery chains like Safeway. My cheap toy sources were Alpha Betas and Thrifty's.
  7. My guess is that the bonus accessories will be in-scale figurines of Noa and crew.
  8. GT's offering looks great, but I really miss that box spoiler on Jazz. As for toys I actually own, I had time to relax and got some toys out of storage:
  9. I hope Bandai goes all the way with this, unlike their Labor in Action line.
  10. I never got a chance to show this until I got home. I disliked TFC's Blackbird so much that I wanted to exclude him and salvage the rest of Uranos' limbs somehow. This is what it looks like when you buff out a CW Silverbolt with Perfect Effect's breastplate and nonef's thigh fillers, then attach Uranos limbs via glaug's Shapeways adapters:
  11. New photos of Wildrider and Breakdown from that gigantic Menasor have emerged. Not really feeling Breakdown's colors; those blue dots at the rear are off-putting.
  12. Those paws look awfully big though. It gives Weirdwolf a goofier look.
  13. Go for the MasterPiece Ratchet and don't look back. The MP Ironhide that was released earlier was a great MP so I expect MP Ratchet to be just as good. There are currently two unofficial toys of Ratchet, iGear's PP-05M Medical Specialist, and Voodoo Robots' Salus. PP-05M is a fiddly beast to play with, and is very outdated compared with the MP. I do not own Salus, but I hear of its durability issues often. There is also the official, smaller, Deluxe sized Ratchet from Hasbro under their Classics line and Takara from their Henkei line. They are essentially the same figure, but the Henkei version sports a different deco with more paint apps.
  14. 1. Yep, different paint job; red "shorts", different chest deco, grey head. That one came out around the same time as Maketoys' bigger, more accurate version of Chromedome. 2. No reissues yet, AFAIK. 3.I guess FP changed their numbers around, cuz I thought X6 was Hardhead, X7 Apeface, and X8 Highbrow. That was over a year ago, though.
  15. The only toy that may have matched my excitement level upon getting a 1/48 valk would be the first Masterpiece Optimus Prime. My 1/48s still rock, and I'm not gonna let go of them. Unless a V.2 comes out...
