  1. It's glorious - please let one be in green.
  2. Love the helmet, and I would totally buy a jersey with "FOKKER" on the back.
  3. Yes, very impressive work. The Christopher Reeve head looks superb.
  4. I got it from this vendor on Ebay. There's also an option to get a head with no bangs. I'm hoping they will make heads for Cammy as well.
  5. I got real curious about the custom head kits out there and got one for Ms. Thunder Thighs: It's quite an improvement considering my stock head was sloppily finished - it was awful. I just had to super glue the hair buns in their sculpted recesses for completion. Fitment wise, the cavity for the neck ball joint was too deep, but the kit does come with bits of foam clay to fill the cavity for a good fit. I highly recomnend it if you get stuck with a crappily painted head like I did.
  6. If Wolverine and Black Panther can get their own official mech suits, the local City construction worker can get their own transforming dumper - nice work!
  7. FemShep is the only Shep. I guess it's a fair guess the author makes in suggesting the show will center on a whole new main character seeing as how every player has their own ideal Shep in appearance and demeanor.
  8. It was recently announced that Mass Effect has gotten the green light for production. I love the games (just the 1st three), but the production team mentioned in the article leads to me believe it'll be a toss-up if the show will be a hit.
  9. I always wondered why Phantasy Star IV was so damn expensive compared to other Genesis games upon its release. This podcast with Victor Ireland (Working Designs) gives a reason: Ireland wanted to publish the game, and Sega US did not want to, thinking RPGs are a bad idea. Sega Japan asks Sega US if PSIV is such a bad idea, then why does Working Designs want to publish it so badly? Sega US then releases the game and jacks up the price so high, thinking the price will tank the game, validating its anti-RPG stance. The game proceeds to sell out. A big thank you to Bernie Stolar (head of Sega US at the time) for allowing me to play one of the best 16 bit RPGs (albeit at an outrageous price).
  10. The last Transformers game I had fun with was Devastation. It's way overdue for another good TF game. Unfortunately, this one does not appear to be one:
  11. Incidentally, I just built this rendition of KITT courtesy of Jerry Builds Bricks. The KITT model that was included with Lego's Michael Knight minifigure was cute, but it needed a better ride: The design's solid, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a KITT to go with Michael.
  12. I bought one here. I ordered from them before, and they're reliable. However, they will ship your kits without the original boxes. Instead, they will be packed in padded pouches. I jumped the gun on this; the shipping cost is huge compared to my previous orders.
  13. The kits are not exclusive, they can be found on other sites like AliExpress.
  14. It's been a long time comin' but HLJ sent me a payment received notice for the Tri-Charger - finally!
  15. My copy just arrived tonight, and it even came with a bonus sketch: I'll give it a quick look through in a bit.
  16. Just came upon this one today: Quite a nice build, though I can't place what figure that is.
  17. That Alteisen looks like a keeper for me, I just hopes it gets a nice, bright red scheme.
  18. I know Megatron had a darker colored helmet in the Marvel comics, but aside from that, D-16's head shape also reminded me of what Megs looked like in an old commercial:
  19. Thanks, I actually might buy it this time.
  20. I took my boys out for this one, and they had a blast. I liked Pax's "hero shot" that called back to the '86 movie as Prime leaps in the air while using his blaster, and of course Elta's jab saying that Pax neither has "the touch or the power"
  21. Is this a reissue?
  22. I finally found the new Speed Champions F40 at the local Walmart, and wow, what a difference 5 years make when you compare it to the older F40 from the same line: I'm convinced Lego got inspiration from various MOCs to produce their latest iteration of the F40, especially this one: Regardless, I had fun buiding this new kit, and for a kit this size, Lego nailed the silhoutte: I found the use of spoons for mirrors ingenious, but I didn't like the empty space where the main headlights are. I reckon I could use clear parts to fill the void, but that would mean changing the shape of the front side, which I don't want to do. What I felt needed changing though was the size of the windows, which looked quite small right out of the box. To fix this, I removed the paint at the bottom of the windscreen piece with some rubbing alcohol and cotton swabs, then applied carefully measured adhesive vinyl strips and shapes to make the windows appear larger: I've seen a few cool mods that give this kit opening doors and an opening rear hatch, but I don't think I'm going that far. With my larger windows, I'm gonna call it a day. I fear this kit is a gateway for me to discover similarly sized MOCs of other fine autos.
