    It's definitely proportioned differently from the competition, but not so much for me to reject it altogether. The small size may be a benefit for an attached TLEAD in the future.

    Good Smile is also making the Thunderforce fighters under the Figma line, but no release date yet. That R-Type animation is rad.

    That is definitely the first Boss from R-Type. Considering fighters from the Thunderforce games are being made, the mighty R9 might also be in the works.

    When I finally saw a pic of 3.0 Prime in it's entirety, it reminded me of the shot of Prime standing tall before he goes into the gauntlet, mowing down Insecticons and Seekers alike before he turns the tide in the '86 movie. So in that sense, I think Takara totally nailed it, as awful as it may look to you. That being said, it's not going to replace my MP-10. I still need to learn more to see if 3.0 is great leap forward from MP-10 to deserve the MP title, and for now, I don't think it does.

    Holy crap-Riobot Legioss. I was secretly hoping Sentinel would make the leap to Legioss fighters as well, but I didn't think it would actually happen.

    No worries, and yes, Sentinel's prices are hard to swallow at first but their sculpts and engineering almost make you forget just how much you had to pay to get a miniature battle between Anubis and Jehuty on your desk.

    I only have a few Riobots, and mine in general have little die cast content so they are light when compared to a hefty Chogokin or even a Metal Build.

    Yes, yes, how can I forget Ms. Bouncy. I actually would have reservations on a Mai figure from Storm though. They seem to get the "mean and muscular" look down down but "cute and busty" might not be their forte. I don't know, we'll see I guess. But in the meantime, AMAKUNI already has my money for the Mai I want.

    I agree. FT's version is svelte, and while the engineering to get there may be quite a feat, Wardog's chunkiness fits his alt mode better and has more appeal to me. As far as the reveals go, I'm definitely liking where MMC's Bruticus is going and their Sky Lynx looks like it's going to get along real well with my Feral Rex. Ooh, and Hoodlum is finally coming-good times!

    Yeah, the kit doesn't seem to be super rare (for now at least), it's just a pain to find one with the least markup and/or service fees tacked on. Will do, thanks for heads up!

    I dug around a few proxy services, and I found that they will help you get an item only if the item is from an ONLINE shop, which the Gundam Base unfortunately doesn't have (I think). I haven't read up on Buyee, however. I'll definitely look them up, and I'll keep on digging. Thanks for your suggestions!

    Could anyone share some tips on how to get a limited kit from the Gundam Base? I'd like to try getting the new candy coated Sazabi that was released this month, but the usual retailers can't help me this time.

    I couldn't stay long enough in the area for the convention, so I had to go with an online bid. I really wanted to stick around especially for Go Nagai and Eisuke Ogura, but it wasn't in the cards this year.
