  1. Thanks, guys! Yeah the design makes a convincing looking Jayhawk. All I changed was adding a rear plate on the elevator to make it solid and reduced the main rotor height by about half an inch. I also added multi colored pieces for the rotor tips. And David, yes it did come with stickers. While I bought the plans from Ebay, the creator's website is BrickDesigners. Attached are pics with the flight crew for scale. *Flight crew not included ☺
  2. Check out this build I did from a design I bought. It came with digital instructions, a parts list, and stickers to dress it up. I had a lot of fun building this thing, and the parts were not of a rare lot, so the total price for parts was just under $100.
  3. Tiny is good for future Tread endeavours. I just shudder thinking of what price Sentinel might ask for a Tread.
  4. Glorious. Genesis breakers...eenteresting.
  5. Pang's Models and Hobbies out of Illinois carries DeAgostini.
  6. It's a great looking Unicron, no doubt. I'm just not a big enough fan. I have the Amazon Armada Unicron from a few years ago, and that does it for me.
  7. I like the biplane just chillin in the corner. Are those Tomcats the ones from Hachette?
  8. Time for some necromancy. Just a heads up: remember how Hobby Master was getting on board with Sukhois? They've released a few Flankers already, even their superb Su-34, but the latest one is going to be the Russian Naval Su-33! Also coming the pipe will be their first MiG-29.
  9. KATO, of all companies, is now doing Patlabor. Of course this means a much smaller scale than what we're used to, but the craftmanship will be superb.
  10. I finally saw Godzilla 3, the conclusion of the series. Ghidorah and Mothra were nothing but a big tease. Not much giant monster action either, and it ends on a somber note. Definitely not my cup of tea as far as Godzilla goes.
  11. As soon as you stop molesting our moo-cows!
  12. This may sound weird but I sometimes prefer the heavier appearance compared to a MS getting a slender, "Katoki'd" look. For the NT-1 2.0, I'm glad they went with the stockier look.
  13. Dang, I didn't think Bandai would release that big Nu. That thing is nuts. I may just skip their 1/48 valks and save the funds for this.
  14. Nothing confirmed, but no new RD labors have been announced. I was really looking forward to the transporter trucks being released.
  15. Hound has a lot of faith in that tonneau cover to block blaster shots.
  16. As I'm building this thing, I'm not liking how I seem to be constructing parts from all over the ship and spiraling inwards. I just don't like have parts hanging around and having to wait until I attach it to something else. And gluing together a 1/350 space fighter was a real test of patience for me. Regardless, I'm having fun putting this beast together-it's gonna be great!
  17. I reckon later issues will involve bigger pieces as you go? And yeah, at those prices I can live without those other fighters. Well I finally have some time off, and so it begins...
  18. That AV-0 was made by CM's around 10 years ago. It's kinda crappy, at least mine is, but it's also the only action figure of a Peacemaker.
  19. I'm definitely liking these more than their SFV counterparts. I'm hoping this leads to a better looking Chun Li as well.
  20. Thanks for throwing out that link-I gotta start building this thing before even more hachette boxes arrive!
