  1. Yeah, that must be it. I think that kit hit the market before 2199 was released.
  2. Huh, even though they're at the same scale, the Hachette model is going to be longer at 3.1 feet as opposed to Bandai's at 2.8 feet; a difference of just over 3 inches.
  3. Just for kicks I asked Books Kinokuniya Web for a subscription quote to get the whole model. It might be cheaper for those who live close to an actual Kinokuniya store.
  4. No worries. I'm just glad Sentinel is actually taking a stab at it.
  5. What is this? http://www.hcj.jp/2202/home.html Is this another build-a-ship project from a magazine subscription?
  6. My Google-fu is weak on this one. Do you have a link?
  7. I got the small Dorvack Ovelon helicopter from that toy line. Totally loved it.
  8. My cousin is a huge Garfield nut and would absolutely adore this. I need to find this for him.
  9. Anyone else tinkering around with Launchbox for their retro needs? I really dig the UI on this one. Got MAME up and going for it and so far I have no issues with. For the SEGA consoles, it's apparently easier to use Retroarch within Launchbox. It just strikes me as odd to use a frontend within another one.
  10. Ooh, I need this for my black Getter-thanks for the heads up!
  11. Yep, my AC bundle is finally on the way too. Time to dust off my VR goggles!
  12. Mmm, bulky mecha - totally loving it. It reminds a lot of a Zenith wanzer from Front Mission, especially the upper body. I just might have to get one if it makes it to the production line.
  13. I finally got my Wei Jiang Blackout. Frankly, I don't like the parts-forming going on with the fuselage pieces. Was it all done for the Scorpinok diorama gimmick? With all the engineering done to improve upon the original Studio Series Blackout, WJ could've knocked it out of the park by integrating the fuselage pieces in the transformation. Another niggle I have is with the painted red and white stripes on the tail rotor piece; they're not painted straight as they wrap around the piece. It just looks sloppy when compared to the rest of the paint apps on the toy. While they were at it, they also could've molded the tail rotor blades in the same color as the main rotor blades. That being said, I still think it is a killer toy. It feels rock solid and stable. WJ did an excellent job with the molded details and the intricate paint apps. Its imposing presence on my shelf almost makes me forget about the huge pieces left out for it's alt mode. Anyways, much kudos to WJ; this is a serious upgrade to any movie Blackout toy released in the past.
  14. Definitely a unique, and killer, take on Getter. If I can track one down when more funds are available, it will be mine.
  15. And now an English cover, which actually isn't too bad!
  16. " My cat watched this video with me, he's now King from Tekken 3."
  17. My friends have Xbox, so multiplayer games are for Xbox. Solo adventure games and anything Namco is for the PS4. For anything else, given the game looks and plays equally good on either console, whatever is cheaper wins my choice.
  18. I have my doubts about threezero as well. They seem ambitious, but end up being lackluster. I'll definitely wait for reviews on their Ingram, but in the meantime I'll stick with the Bandai MG kits for 1/35 scale.
  19. I feel a great disturbance, as if millions of furry voices suddenly cried out in glee.
  20. First one is probably Metal Skin Panic Madox 01. Dunno about the 2nd one though.
  21. Stoomander is a quantum leap from Xovergen's version from a few years ago. I was quite interested in that one until the reviews came out. I just might get the green release of Stoomander though. Thanks for the info, Mike.
  22. I used to be more optimistic about stuff like this until I saw Netflix's Death Note.
  23. First I heard about that, I'll keep it in mind when it hits the market.
