    My apologies for the derailment, but I'm just stoked about my latest model: It's a copy of Cody Osell's F-4C Phantom. It's turning out to be a fun build, and I am certainly learning new building techniques as I go.

    I get giddy every time Mechander Robo gets any toy love, I just might pick this one up. That being said, it's odd to see an updated "remake" of it before seeing a toy of his OG self. And I mean a GOOD toy, like big chogokin quality. IIRC, the last time such a thing was released was during the late 70's.

    Yeah, that kit was nigh-impossible to find. It's a total win that Goodsmile picked it up. There are a few design cues in there that remind me a lot of EDI from Mass Effect.

    I wasn't sure where to give a heads up on this one: This is Goodsmile's Cyclion. It fits a Figma figure just fine apparently. I'm totally diggin it-already got one on preorder.

    I experience the same thing. More often than not I get them on backorder, but HLJ pulls through and my order is filled. This happened around the 60th issue. I reckon the demand just got higher as word spread around. I can't say if fewer quantities are being produced; I figure it's just bad timing. Speaking of which, thanks sumyumgoy-I secured #87! I just ordered a warehouse shipment with my 20 or so issues on board. Just in time for my vacation!

    All this talk lit a fire under my butt: I dug up the set today. The extra cowl parts and the decals seem intact: Kaneda himself has held up ok. Just doing a prelim check showed his clothing is intact and even the elasticity is good. But the feel of it tells me it's the kind of material that will get brittle easily with sunlight exposure, as Felix pointed out earlier. The bike looks pristine! I'd almost forgotten how big this thing is.
