  1. Thanks, I actually might buy it this time.
  2. I took my boys out for this one, and they had a blast. I liked Pax's "hero shot" that called back to the '86 movie as Prime leaps in the air while using his blaster, and of course Elta's jab saying that Pax neither has "the touch or the power"
  3. I finally found the new Speed Champions F40 at the local Walmart, and wow, what a difference 5 years make when you compare it to the older F40 from the same line: I'm convinced Lego got inspiration from various MOCs to produce their latest iteration of the F40, especially this one: Regardless, I had fun buiding this new kit, and for a kit this size, Lego nailed the silhoutte: I found the use of spoons for mirrors ingenious, but I didn't like the empty space where the main headlights are. I reckon I could use clear parts to fill the void, but that would mean changing the shape of the front side, which I don't want to do. What I felt needed changing though was the size of the windows, which looked quite small right out of the box. To fix this, I removed the paint at the bottom of the windscreen piece with some rubbing alcohol and cotton swabs, then applied carefully measured adhesive vinyl strips and shapes to make the windows appear larger: I've seen a few cool mods that give this kit opening doors and an opening rear hatch, but I don't think I'm going that far. With my larger windows, I'm gonna call it a day. I fear this kit is a gateway for me to discover similarly sized MOCs of other fine autos.
  4. This upcoming game reminds me of Ex Ranza/Ranger X from the Mega Drive days: It looks quite flashy, and I'm digging the Itano Circus action.
  5. The changes are minor, but yeah, why mess with perfection?
  6. I was worried about this one for a while, and I'm glad it's happening after all. It looks quite good - crossing my fingers for a green one!
  7. Brick Veteran has a sweet looking MiG-29 coming up. This first one of theirs is limited to 100 kits.
  8. Yuzo Koshiro is the game designer AND composer for this one, so expect the music to be good.
  9. Yep, it was known as "The Red". As for Hicks, I don't what's scarier: a xenomorph or a psychotic zombie kangaroo.
  10. Wanna see what the Metal Slug creators were up to way back when?
  11. The only form of red bean paste I would ever like: Mazinger Z can suck it.
  12. From Japan gave me a quote of 14,300Â¥ to order the edition on that link.
  13. Trying out From Japan right now. I'll see if they get back to me with a quote.
  14. Ooh, could someone please share a US - friendly link for the Limited First Edition?
  15. Terry in action in SF6: I love how he has both the Fatal Fury and Garou move sets.
  16. Just got another update: "We've completed all the interview and commentary translations, and we've gone through several reviews of the subtitles for them. Still more work to do here making sure everything is correct. We've also been hard at work on the captions for the English dub. The first two passes have been completed, and we're plowing through the final reviews and tweaks. Meanwhile, Justin Sevakis and his minions at MediaOCD are making steady progress on the color-grading for both the Blu-ray and 4K UHD. Once those have been completed, we'll do our final review of the subtitles prior to the start of authoring. The big news is that Mikimoto-sensei has sent us his rough design for the embroidered patch." Also of note: "We're also taking a hard look at doing an acrylic standee using this artwork. Is this something you'd be interested in? The artbook is largely complete. All we need is the final artwork from Mikimoto-sensei (including the packaging artwork), and of course if the combat archaeology team discovers any additional materials, we'll try and squeeze it in."
  17. Thanks! I'm hoping it goes all the way to production unlike another large scale Madox (I'm looking at you, AYGO!). It's at least 5 years old, unfortunately. The owner sounds like he wasn't completely certain if it was an original or a recast.
  18. I noticed this placard while admiring electric indigo's Ingram: My desire to know more intensifies.
  19. Love Ingrams, flakked out or not, and that one looks great. I like how you framed the pink flowers . The F-15 Kai kit looks real nice! I'm hoping Hobby Master or Calibre Wings take notice.
