Correct! It's all you A7.

In Devil Hunter Yohko, how many generations of devil hunters had passed before Yohko took the title of being a devil hunter herself?
-
Who is Toren Smith?

Good catch YLM! You're up at bat.

Ok, aside from Blade Runner, another early 80's Hollywood movie is said to have strongly influenced the original Bubblegum Crisis OAVs (Priss' musical introduction mimics some shots from this movie, down to her outfit). Name this movie.

Ooh, what is Science Ninja Team Gatchaman? Edit: changed to Jeopardy style.

If you're seeing the first releases at really good prices, by all means go for them! They may be lacking the new features, but I don't think it's a big loss.

Thanks! That's Medium Green (FS 34102) on the fast packs. There's more pics of it in yellowlightman's site: http://www.yellowlightman.com/mfc/thumbnai...ls.php?album=24 That CF is looking sweet, Jung!

This one's been shown before as well, but once again, here's a peek at #036 of the U.N. Marines "Green Dragon" squadron. Stickers were made by Anasazi, Takatoys, and yours truly .

The darker color Yamato used for the accents are very close if not identical to Intermediate Blue (FS 35164). I used Testor's Model Master version for my low-vis custom and its an excellent match. The overall color is a neutral gray, so yeah, you're seeing the colors correctly.

A while back, Sephiroth gave out a tip to use Goo Gone to clean up the splotches of "weathering" on a low vis. It works wonders on those icky sticker stains too. All you need is couple of cotton swabs to apply the stuff and a paper towel to wipe up the mess.

Wow! Hmmm, the shoulder pieces seem like they're too high; they look as if they're floating and not actually mounted on the shoulders. The chest also seem to be of a different shape, but they still look good. Regardless, that's a lot of hard work and it really looks promising. I'd definitley have to get a set when the project gets that far.

By accident I found that Goo Gone can negate the effects of super glue over time. I used the stuff to clean up a low-vis, but some of it pooled around a wing panel that was super glued back on. A few days later, that same panel just popped out again as if it had never been glued. I don't know if it'll work with that canopy assembly though, the seam looks real tight with little room for any Goo Gone to settle into. You just might have to slice the sucker off, EXO.

Nice work indeed! Are the yellow stripes painted or are they adhesive pin stripes?
-
Yep, like mister e said, FPs are mainly used for space combat so attempts at retaining any low vis scheme would go right out the window. Besides, having matching FPs would make it look really dull IMO.

Y'know, that first link would probably be a lot more profound if I knew Swedish. Then again, maybe not...

99? That's a trick question. According to Kyosuke it's 100. According to Ayukawa it's 99. I prefer the cats way. What way is that? It's too ********* long, I'll just teleport it. It's not a trick question, the debate about the number of steps ends during the "Message in Rouge" OAV. Madoka recounts the steps and finds there are 100 steps, proving Kyosuke was right all along. Sorry if it seemed too hard a question, I thought someone would get it real fast since that staircase is a very important location in many episodes of KOR. In any case, I hand the mic to Dangard Ace since he got the closest to the right answer.
-
Okay, in Kimagure Orange Road, how many steps are on the flight of stairs where Kyosuke and Madoka first meet?

What are the Tenseiga and the Tetsuseiga? (I hope spelling doesn't count)

Word on the street is that the latest KOF games will be released for the PS2 in the near future (with Metal Slug soon to follow-woo hoo!). Check it out: http://www.gamesarefun.com/news.php?newsid=133 Ahh, you can't beat 2-D goodness. -
Bublegum Crisis being re-released
Valkyrie Hunter D replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Out of 10, I'd give it a 6. Crash wasn't horrible, but I think the attempt to bring Largo back fell flat. And the old suits looked better than the ones Crash introduced. Dig that theme song though! -
Bublegum Crisis being re-released

OMG!! Take that back!!! This is my 4th fav series of all time and in a way I've come to despise the 2040 version. Nope, I'm not taking it back That "ape-woman" crack came straight from Nene in part 8 when Linna and Priss were giving her a hard time during training excercises. BTW, did any of you get a chance to read Adam Warren's Grand Mal? If you hate what he did with the Dirty Pair, you'd probably want to steer clear of it. Warren didn't take too many liberties with his take on BGC, but he does add a little more detail about Sylia and her origin. Overall I thought the story is kinda stale (rogue vengeful android, yadda yadda), and his drawings are too clean and simplistic. -
Bublegum Crisis being re-released
Valkyrie Hunter D replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
What do I remember most about Bubblegum Crisis? The D.D. battlemover! Only one of the several gorgeous pieces of mecha to strut in BGC. The music? Yeah, it rocks, even the background music (especially in eps. 5&6) is good. I also remember how the art got progressively better with every episode...then they ran out of funding and it ended with part 8 which felt like a "filler" episode Whoops, my vote goes to the ever-elegant Linna. Despite her name, Priss is too much of an "ape-woman", Sylia is too cold, and Nene...has pink hair.
