  1. Speaking of old school mecha gameplay, I never would have guessed this game would get released again: It's going to be part of City Connection's tribute to select Saturn games. This one is gonna be a treat for me since I only heard about the game in import gaming magazine ads back in the day and never got to play it. It's going to be on Steam next year and even if doesn't have subtitles, I'm buying it.
  2. Yep, Cap was a mainstay in my team during the MvsC days, and a Marvel Legends sized figure of him would be grand. My guess as to why this lineup is that tall is maybe they want to keep them in scale with some level boss toys in the future? Or maybe toys of those bipedal mechs the team uses as mounts?
  3. This one looks to be pretty cool, it's quite reminiscent of Wolf Fang, Assault Suit Leynos/Valken, and even Elevator Action Returns:
  4. Their BUTCHER series of mechs has my attention, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on these guys.
  5. I never thought this guy would ever have a toy made of him: 52TOYS is making one of the Captain himself, as well as the rest of the gang, so of course, I preordered them all: I would wish for a larger scale, but beggars can't be choosers when it comes to merchandise of forgotten beat 'em up games. This only gives me hope that 52TOYS will venture into Strider Hiryu territory.
  6. Apparently that Red Leader X-Wing was MIA for decades until it was found in Jein's collection. Just to shift focus on the man himself instead of his stuff, check out this video:
  7. Legendary Hollywood model builder Greg Jein died last year at the age of 76, and now the huge treasure trove of models and memorabilia he amassed is going to be auctioned off. I think the headlining piece will be the large scale Red Leader X-Wing model used during the filming of Star Wars' trench run with an opening bid of 400K USD: His collection is astounding from works ranging from Buck Rogers, V, and even Ultraman. The items are well beyond my pay grade, but I think most of MW would have just as much fun as I did browsing through the listings. I clicked on the thumbnail for this item, thinking it was a Tribble
  8. On the heels of Torrent comes this plushy: If ever you wanted a plushy of a living jar of human flesh, now is the time for you.
  9. Dang, Ryan Ottley's (INVINCIBLE) variant cover makes me feel sorry for Starscream:
  10. Speaking of FROM software, I am having an absolute blast with AC6. And in typical FROM fashion, everything was all fun and games up until that ONE boss battle that makes you question your AC piloting skills and/or build choice.
  11. If it was a larger, more huggable size, I'd be all over it. <Ahem> For my son, of course.
  12. OG DM founder Vince Clark is releasing a solo album. I keep forgetting he was part of DM, I always associate him with Erasure and Yaz.
  13. Same experience here, scored a Concorde two Speed Champions kits for the kiddies hassle free. I'm looking forward to the Concorde, it looks to be a fun build.
  14. Not my drawing, but I thought it was a nice tribute:
  15. Oooh, I'm praying it doesn't become vaporware. This figure looks waay too good for those 4 fighters to combine.
  16. A review of the highly anticipated Concorde kit:
  17. Annoucement for a release date of Oct.5, 2023!
  18. I was thinking about visiting the Armor Museum too, but my wife can only withstand one museum visit with me before becoming irate, confiscating my camera. Seeing all these birds in person gave me a better perspective on their relative size, like how teeny a Harrier is, or how massive a P-38 can be. The B-52 memorial was somber, but was still quite a spectacle:
  19. Yes, the Boeing droids occasionally still need assistance. Their WWII warbird exhibit is just outstanding: Seeing the P-38 was a pleasant surprise.
  20. So it was my first time at Seattle's Museum of Flight. Truly an amazing place. I haven't even gone outside for the B-52.
  21. A teaser for Garou's sequel, City of the Wolves:
  22. Hitting the market this Sept.4 for LEGO VIPs, the general release will be later on Sept.7:
  23. Nice, the rumors were true - I'm all in for one!
  24. I didn't know he was 70. RIP to an 80's icon.
