I loved (and I do mean LOVED) the Ace Combat series. That was until the steaming pile of turd that was Assault Horizon and it's dogfight (read dogshite) mode. The newest addition to the series looks like a return to form and the playstation VR was made for a game like this. This isn't a recent purchase, I bought it in Hong Kong a year ago, but since cars are "so hot right now"....... This is Jenson Button's McLaren from the 2012 Belgian GP, which was the 1st F1 race I managed to attend. Given the fact that I'm a Button fan, we wanted him to win the race, he did win the race and it was a magic weekend, when I saw this I had to have it! No brainer. Here's the real car (and JB) during qualifying from that weekend. (forgive iphone quality pic) If only McLaren could've given him a better car in the seasons that followed....sigh. Roll on the Aussie GP though, the new cars will hopefully look great!

True, could be another bunfight (probably will be) I would benefit significantly by NOT having to work when they goes on sale (no internet at work) The -31F went up for preorder what 2-3 weeks after -31J? So Arad's bird goes up for preorder in the first week or two of May, then we get another in September and January again for the 5th of Delta squadron. So by my (super-advanced) Man maths, the -31A should go up for pre-order first week of May 2018!

Loving the pics guys. I'm conflicted over the Delta 2 release. It's one of the best looking 31s from the show but not THE best. That honour goes to the A model. I'm just not sure I can wait long enough to get my hands on a new Valk. I do hope to add Mirage's bird to my stable (pre-order gods permitting) Thing is, how long will it be for the Kairos? Will the market demand be there after 5 regular Delta platoon birds, plus the 262s? I hope so......

I'd really hoped Mirage woulda been up next. Still I liked Messer's Valk. In my head I'd hoped I'd get away with 3 valks from this series Mirage, a Kairos and a 262 (not Keith's) - gonna be a while at this rate!

Megahouse are releasing a Gundam figure of Mikazuki from the Gundam Orphans series. Why can't they do male leads from Macross?? (Yes I do realise Gundam has a far larger fanbase - but still!)
