  1. Ahhh... good information. Thanks. Yeah, we keep the full packing for all of our electronics. It means we have to store big boxes and stuff, but its worth it when you move.
  2. How so? I've got the original box and packing materials that it was shipped to me in.
  3. Kunf Flu and Black Valk- Thanks for the help. I guess I'm most concerned about whether or not I can just pick up a TV there, or if I should take ours with us.
  4. David, you are a scholar, and a gentleman. And the man I will ALWAYS go to for aircraft advice.
  5. Sooo... I'm SOL? Do I have t bring my own TV over to play my games and watch my Blu-rays?
  6. So, it's looking more and more like my wife and I will be moving to Europe for her post-doc (either France or Switzerland). I was curious if anyone knew of any issues using an NA PS3 over in Europe. It'll be powered through a 110v-regulating UPS, which in turn will be attached to a voltage converter, so I don't think power will be a problem. But I'm not I'll be able to use my HDTV over there, and if I have to buy one, will my signal not work on a Euro-TV (isn't HD the same everywhere?) Also, will the PSN be a problem?
  7. Looks pretty dope. Thought I'll wait for the Director's Cut that has it integrated into the Theatrical Version.
  8. I've been playing Valkyria Chronicles for about a week or so. This game is awesome!
  9. I don't know. It was kind of an unexciting trailer. It also reinforced how much I hate the designs. Oh well, the first one was stupid fun, hopefully this will be, too.
  10. Season ain't over yet. Methinks an Adama rescue mission is coming up with Starbuck and Apollo shooting stuff up.
  11. You can never trust IGN's ratings. They gave GTA IV a 10 for Pete's sake. I think it deserves a 7, at best.
  12. You're right, I mixed my circuits.
  13. So, here's the question- if Hera is not a hybrid, what was the importance of the shared dream between Roslyn, Athena, and Six? That was a recurring item.
  14. Hey, that's pretty cool.
  15. Its not the fanbase that's the problem, its that the schedule was so radically off-putting that it didn't allow new viewers to get on board. That, and the show really became entrenched in it's own mythos, making it harder for viewers to pick it up without having to watch everything that came previously. As for Babylon 5? I liked the show, but to say that they actually had a gameplan from the start is, IMHO, terribly naive.
  16. Gee, I forgot about that game, but no. This one was like an FPS kind of thing where your viewpoint is inside the spaceship. It basically follows a preset course allowing you to shoot away.
  17. Hey gurus- quick question: I remember this old arcade (?) game where your in a space ship, but you don't have too much control of where your going (you mostly just control where on the screen you shoot), but it was pretty cool because there were parts where your flying through fleets of ships and whatnot. The graphics (for the time) were pretty cool. But I can't remember the name to save my life. Any ideas?
  18. No. Of course it is, you fool! How could you even forget!?!?
  19. But USS Beyonce sounds OK to me.
  20. Agreed. Those are awesome names that carry a lot of weight behind them.
  21. It'll have a big "Mission Accomplished" banner on the island all of the time!!!
