its Rohby san recasts....just matt-coat the painted acrylics and it'll look about 100% like the original....cool for something that's worth 65 cents a bottle (the dull/matt coat)..anyway Neova...how can my inferior 1S compare to yours....or any of you guys' ... I dont have balls to paint the wings....hehe...prolly just gonna 'steal' from one of the extra Roys.. aaajin Here are some other pics of the head -
Try ask rohby...Heard he's gonna recast some 1S LV-color heads some time soon....prolly he can use the same material to cast the part u need

eh, i wouldn't worry about it, all the haters are just jealous of us 1S max owners. did you actually paint the arrows on the side of the head or did you use a sticker like me? haha...but this is still my first custom....there's still plenty of room for improvements for a super rookie like me.... hm...I painted the arrows in swedish blue acrylics (by liquitex)...I used a very tiny-tip brush to paint it (got it from paint supplies section in my U's bookstore)....the antennas are painted by airbrush..and then were matt-coated (got it for 65 cents in the bookstore )....after the matt coating, IMO, the antennas look just like the originals (shine-free!) Thanks aaajin -

Hi, Has anyone tried Zep Commercial Hardwood & Laminate floor cleaner as Future Floor substitute? I tried to search for Future floor around the town but to no avail. The one that I got is from Home Depot for USD 4 +. The label says that it can be used for acrylic floors, so Im assuming its the same thing as Future? I have already tried it on my 1S Max...and as far as Im concern, the thing looks just fine...I just have to wait for a couple of hours to let it dry & see if its OK.. Anyway, has anyone else tried the same product before? Thanks, aaajin

Hi, Its me again....I'm really really is a new-newbie in modelling.....sorry if this question sounds too ignorant....but how do we clean air brush after airbrushing... I've read WM Cheng's tips...but I just cant figure it out...do we have to dissemble it before soaking it into the thinner? Or do we just soak the whole thing? What I just did just now is ...I remove the head of the airbrush...(the crown shaped thing)...and then I just soak the head together with the airbrush in a tupperware filled with thinner. Is this the right way? And then after soaking it with the thinner, what should I do? Thanks in advance, aaajin PS : Ive tried the search...but since "clean airbrush" prolly is just too common words...the search turned out 0 result...

Hi, my question is...how to thin Mr Surfacer 1000? I tried thinner but the result was a disaster...the primer clotted and became a clay like substance after I mixed thinner with Mr Surfacer 1000. It even looks like that the primer does not dissolve even a little bit into the thinner. May I know what actually went wrong ? Does Mr Surfacer actually mix well with thinner (Im using odorless thinner)? If not, may I know the correct way to thin Mr Surfacer? Thanks in advance for your helps, aaajin PS : I tried the search function but couldnt find a post dedicated to this problem

TQQQ very-2 much ... but still.. 1 hour has passed since i started to transform this sucker...dOh! EDITED : wow...looking at the watch I cant believe how much time I spent on transforming this toy... however, there are 2 areas that I recognized have major stress effects on mine...yep i know the ones Graham n u guys have been talkin about...but here's new ones.... the first one is on one of the connection of the diecast fin on the leg...I really think that this part should've been made out of metal instead of pure ABS ...and the other is the one ...hm i dunno what to call this part.. but here are the pics just curious...has anybody else's toy suffers the same stress effects?
