Anyone wants to sculpt a fully poseable 1.5 inch pilot figures with moving hands and feet so they can pose outside the valk and sit inside the cockpit? I mean, it wouldnt be too hard, wouldnt it, if the sculptor use the existing recast pilot figure as the base. The joints can be an easy snap-fit hinge. just my 2 cents

yes, destiny is wayy much better than s-freedom. more durable and all....the s-freedom I got has a loose right leg...had to use 3M glue to tighten the joints a bit (it works like charm)....and yeah, the rail gun broke the first time I tired to pull it up. It snapped at the hinge joint at the side skirt of the figure. Maybe s-freedom is more fragile than destiny its because it has lots of little accessories & gimmicks than destiny, but at least Bandai should have made em more durable

well, the rail gun broke at its pivot at the side "skirt"....(refer arrow in pic below)

my s-freedom hcm pro arrived today. It looked great, the details are just marvellous. However, be extra cautious with teh rail gun because I just broke one of mine (had to glue it, so now one of em is stationary)...theyre too damn tight that I snapped it when I tried to pull it up. oh well, I can just replace the rail gun with the other extra guns that came with it...looks extra cool IMO here are some samples

I take back my words. On a second look, the VF-0S does look badass...prolly the camera angle was not right when the pics were taken, making it looks a lil bit "awkward" on the legs and the antennas

Funny, but I think some boxes in the design of the Macross "Gold Book" would look awesome (especially for those that don't take their toys out of the boxes). Just to be clear, I'm not saying I'd pay an extra $100. . . well, maybe if Yamato gave the 1/48s the light up eye (or head as the case may be). How about some love for the TV figures ? Hikaru, Max & Millia in TV flight suit anyone? Maybe we'll see Claudia, Global, Guld, Myung, Sharon Apple, other bridge bunnies and even Bodolza (since all of em are either from macross plus or DYRL)...or maybe they can do the Miss Jenius'es (all of em ) Hope they wont make a chase figure based on any of these characters : Nutuk (the old man from macross zero) The flying fish in Macross Zero The three stooges from TV series

didnt I say 1/48?....ehem-2... as for the alpha...well, the toy is great, but the materials they use are crappy to the point that countless QC issues had been found even in a single toy forum (macrossworld). If they can switch from using crappy plastic to ABS plastic, and make the toy a little bit bigger, say, at 1/48, I believe thay'd stand still in the toy market (plus with their license on mospeada etc.-2). however, at the moment, they still sucks

one more point, if youre planning to get a 1S valk, dont think twice - just go get the 1/48 yamato...the head sculpt is wayyy better than toon-nami here are some reference pics :
