Jojo's adventure is divided into 5 parts. I think the 3rd part is the one that popularize even more the already popular jojo's series which I think due to the "stand" concept. Played the arcade game before but it was a bit meh for my taste. anyone who wants to read the whole series of the manga just PM me. aaajin

mine arrived a couple of months ago and I just had the time to transform it like yesterday Id say its an improvement over the 1/48's in many areas but there's also some areas that are a lil bit downgraded as compared to the 1/48's. All in all, this is truly another masterpiece by yamato. Just wondering if any of the improvements on the 1/60 (ie. like the sliding backpack thrusters) can be transferred to the 1/48's, and yamato can call em the 1/48 ver 2. Now we can all start collecting from zero again! (ducks chair)

but it still counts as a joke machine isnt it?

Thanks Vermillion! Yes it is an Buy It Now for $150 and then $15 shipping. He is an Ebay seller and has quite a few left, about 17. Also he has 100% feedback... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1 He just got his in and like I said shipped mine out today so...hopefully in a few days he will be mine! And then I can show him off to my Transformer friends over at Seibertron.com (I am apart of a thread on their toy forum devoted to Macross and Robotech). 401702 that's the guy I bought my zero from. pretty good service, asnwers email promptly but he's using parcel post...so dont get your hopes too high on getting your stuff this week....mine was sent last week and it arrived today. aaajin EDITED : parcel post....not media mail

awesome work my man....I worked on a 1/100 vf-2ss and just dont have the iniciative to finish it...you are a patient person.. aaajin

dont touch em. they'll blow away!. magnets...they use magnets to stick the leg fastpacks on the valk....which shouldnt be done on the already crappy MPC line....parts fitting etc would be worse.. I dont know why but I like the magnets on my YAMATO VF-0S...they fit like....how would I say this...they fit perfectly well ! prolly because the slim profile of the VF-0S fastpacks justify it's magnets use..

IMHO, yamato 1/60 suffers only from design flaws but not quality wise. I even have a yamato 1/60 ripped apart by my x-GF but she sure cant beat the sturdiness of the 1/60. Only the wings & the shoulder link were broken when she threw that thing around. But yeah, if I were to choose between 1/48 and 1/60, Id definitely get the 1/48 for its superior look, quality and perfect transformation. As for the MPC Vf-1's, I dont dare to spend that hefty amount of money (although they are cheap nowadays) for a miserable, static-looking legs MPC. Ive seen one up close and Id say the quality (paint job, plastic quality, etc.) are far inferior to any yamato valks line. The 1/60 design, although suffers from looseness on its legs (yeah its loose like hell), is better in terms of quality. Personally, Id buy 1/60 than spending my cash on an MPC VF-1. But that's my preference on quality wise. If I were to find a perfect transformation valk, Ill try to find something else other than the MPC such as the Bandai's or of course, the 1/48s aaajin

those are hasegawa's model kit stand for 1/72 kits..saying that, it should fit the yamato's 1/72's & of course the 1/60's -
Didn't Neova say he was having supply difficulties and he didn't expect to have people their VF-0S until June? As far as eBay goes, look at the feedback and you'll be fine. If a person has 100% or close to it then you pretty much have nothing (other than factory flaws) to worry about. Ask the seller a few questions and see how promptly they respond and if you like the way they answer. There really is no reason to be afraid of eBay. I use it a lot and have scored many great deals from it. I sell on eBay occasionally, I am not a crook and don't really enjoy being lumped in with the few irresponsible dealers. The real crooks these days are eBay themselves who are making it less and less worth selling on. 398905 wholly agreed! I was at first (when I came to the US) afraid of ebay too. heck, I even "used" my friends to buy stuff on ebay. after seeing the great deals that my friends scored on ebay, I opened up an account and started buying on ebay - the last thing I knew, I was selling stuff on ebay myself~!. Just like jenius said, just be cautious and youll be fine. do a research on the seller's reputation if youre in doubt. make sure youre buying from the right person. if thre's even a slightest doubt on a seller, just back off. you can find other deals from another seller or at a later time. aaajin

anyone else building this kit besides not-me?

Big Bad Toy Store is one of the best. They might even still have some available after filling pre-orders since they supposedly ordered a large amount of them. The downside is they are asking $184 for the thing before shipping, which is high. They're a reliable store though, and I always get my stuff from them in a day or two (it helps I live very close to their warehouse). I didn't like paying that much for the Zero, but the trust and confidence I have in BBTS is worth it I guess. 398685 why BBTS when you can get them far cheaper on ebay & from some TRUSTED sellers here ?. aaajin
