I guess the determining factor that leads to the huge price drop of Yamato's VF-1's is the fact that the 1/60s have removable legs while the 1/48s feature perfect transformation + they look way better. In the case of Macross Plus 1/72 & 1/60, both feature perfect transformations, and in comparison to the 1/60s (Mac +), the 1/72s dont look all that bad, at least in battroid mode (vf-19A or yf-19). So, I wouldnt expect a huge price drop for the 1/72s ala the 1/60.. just my RM 0.02 which converts to USD 0.00563316

try some matt coating. it'll do good on your GBP

When you said the knee caps dont swivel down, does that mean the lower half of the legs cannot rotate? from looking at your pictures, it seems like the lower part of the legs can rotate, but wont the knee caps be in the way during the rotation?

Ill buy the 2nd version Vf-0s only, and only if they come with tampo printings like the 1st version. If not, I'd rather pass...

nice observation. Yeah, the 1/48s cannot be posed with the stand...I wonder why's that?... probably that's why they pose the YF-19 in battroid, but I believe the main reason is because... YF-19 Barroid is SIMPLY GORGEOUS

guess in the early pictures the green is more subtle...but its definitely green, but the kind that blends quite well with the other grey parts

next! all these VF-1 releases have finally make me sick of the design...now, if there's only a company that would rival the 1/60 YF-19...

why cant they just make the cockpit rotates ala the JM? It saves time and energy figuring out the mechanism for the heatshield... just kiddin.

but then again, will the markings on the supernova schemes be tampo-ed on the valk? IMHO, those arts are what make supernova schemes stand out

wait for the 2nd version of the VF-0S, if they gonna ever release them, or just buy the 1st version & display it in fighter mode. I never regret buying the 1st version VF-0S considering the amount of tampo printings on this thing, and by tampo printing I mean the symbols and signs are printed on the toy; minimizing the amount of stickers that will be used on the toy as for the VF-0A....who need paint schemes? just realized you have ordered the VF-0S (slaps forehead). Nyway, enjoy the toy when it arrives and be careful not to break anything when transforming it. better be nervous than sorry. oh, and welcome to da 0S club! as for the MPC alpha, Id agree they look good esp. when stickered but quality wise, (materials used, paint applications, breakage issues etc) theyre not worth the 60 bucks I paid earlier on. I'd say get em the first thing when youre satiated with the Yamatos.
