Glad to see more and more old timers getting back to this hobby/forum. And I thought I was going to be done with macross back in 08 (started job, life, etc2). It all re-started when I was driving back from work, saw a 1/48 VF-1A max at a local site (only surf the net at traffic lights. dont surf while driving), decided to buy that very moment and boom. back to macrossworld. this past decade has been great for us macross fans!

yeah any paitn scheme with the sleek looking fighter mode is a definite sell!

There's a SHE vf-4 resin kit on jungle if anyone's interested in building one. Yamato mustve based theirs off the SHE kit, just like the 19.

well I was thinking along the lines of minimal paint job that will sell. Unless, being arcadia, they decide to release a 30th anny colorful version of the 19 ... which would be sitting on top of shop shelves for a very long time...

I think what locidm meant by "Not every country work like yours" was the way that you can return an item to a store just because you don't like it. I know a lot of shops from where I came from would scream at you if you ever do that..locally. Dont even mention if they would accept returns on international orders. I guess its just culture and consumers rights across borders are different.

Actually that part kinda scary, since I wasnt too sure if the nose-cone supposed to snap in, or the red-lights are supposed to collapse, allowing clearance into the bottom of the chest. Luckily what I did was right. Again, the manual did not say anything about snapping the nosecone in... maybe the manual that came with the 19 is partly useless..(some steps are OK, some are "what? how did you get to that step?") they should do a transformation video and post it on their website. Shouldnt be too hard for them I would guess.
-
Master, you have to snap the nosecone into the upper chest in battroid.
-
I'd take 1. But I guess it will be a hard sell unless there is an anime to back its sales. Or it will be a low-run super-expensive toy, considering the price jump of the new 19 from the old ones. I dont think a non-fan would be purchasing a $300-400-ish toy, that is assuming Arcadia doesnt stick to Yamato's $200+ pricing.

no3ljm showed them in his last photo circled in green

Yup, thats just going to move the intakes/legs relative to the crotch plate.
-
Mr K needs to answer that with his promised transformation video. Not just an ordinary video, it has to be done by Kawamori himself! But I like it better with a longer space between the torso & crotch. If you need to shorten the distance between the torso and crotch, then the torso has to be angled further down, so that the piece that supports the nosecone can also move further down. Then the legs have to be rotated slightly backwards to reduce the droopy angle of the nosecone, while making the crotch piece more pronounced. I did that, still the length is like youve seen in my pics..

I just love the battroid pose!

not sure if this has been posted before or not, but here's the guitar in action! (by Yoshiki Fukuyama) : *well, maybe not made by Arcadia, but Fukuyama-san was also using Basara's replica*

Bought mine from a local fan (he got 2). The right wing root, where it attaches to the metal bar, has a hint of stress mark, probably due to over-tightening of the screw. I've loosen the screw at this part. The connection between the head and neck is very tight too. Turning the head was pretty hard to do, so I loosen the screw to the point of totally unscrewing it, but still doesnt help it. Somehow I think maybe its the joint design, and not the screw (maybe there's an O-ring in there?). Other than these 2 setbacks, the toy feels and looks great!

regardless of how ridiculous m7 show is, I still managed to watch all of them as a completist (not toy-completist as I dont have the $$ to spend on all of em! haha) the song are pretty good and I enjoyed them (esp 7th moon)

HLJ should refund you $100 then! Or maybe you could file a complaint? I also read another member received a bent box-flap from HLJ in some thread (maybe this one)
-
thats a great deal for $100 off. my order is still in process but I think it would be cancelled soon. maybe they listed more *damaged* items than they had.
-
no we should thank you for the video. was worried about you possibly breaking your $300+ toy when not transformed correctly. Thanks for the video! I know for certain that I did not release the hip wings correctly until I saw your video (by rotating the legs to the sides)

what was the initial estimate per stand? couldnt find it in any of the 3 threads (including the poll). thanks! casted my vote. my $ is yours. EDITED : it was in the poll thread. I thought $50 was the amount of contribution to kickstarter....
