if color printing is too expensive, I (and probably many others) wouldnt mind printing in all-black. hopefuly the parts turn out A-OK!

From the link he posted, it looks like the resin will be printed in color, so no painting is necessary. But from reading, seems like it will not be able to reproduce black, just charcoal grey. From shapeway : "It can display the whole color spectrum, but black will show up closer to a charcoal grey" But that's fine with me.

Id be interested in one set, but need to know if it works & if youre making the lower triangles too (?) Been meaning to get a 171 CF scheme, but the exploding triangles are prohibiting me from getting one. "This could be a game changer"

Well, from past experiences collecting Yamato/Arcadia since the early 2000's, these are sure to go up in price once theyre sold out everywhere, no matter how bland (1A/1S Max) or how colorful (1A Angel Birds) they look. That's when your inner Macross-completist-self will kick yourself in the butt for not grabbing these when theyre cheap. I know I will.

So, since it is now pretty much confirmed that Arcadia will include 10 stands with this release, pretty sure the price of valks will be tenfold in 1-2 years. Imagine the demand spike when people start to realize that they NEED to hook a valk on each and every one of these stands. It's a brilliant marketing strategy, heck they should hand these stands for free on sidewalks. Pls dont take me too seriously. I was joking too...

Yeah, theyre pretty loose too. but what I meant is the cross sectional wall thickness is pretty thin and cracks easily. I guess what Arcadia could improve if they ever decided to rework the SV-51 prolly are the thighs areas. make em shorter in battroid (like the sliding mechanism on the 19) and thicker plastics

They should hire more people to re-release their previous works, since the blueprints are there (strike/super parts, VF-4, hard to find VF-1, VF-11, VF-19A + variants, VF-0B + variants in sequence) while the ol guys work on new designs like the VF-3000, VF-14, VF-2SS, phalanx, spartan, VF-5000, VF-9 and so on... but being Arcadia, they will release the least wanted item again...

I was surprised too that the wing roots on mine is pretty tight. Not super tight, but tight enough to hold that pose.
