I can see it now.. in about 30-45 mins unto the next few hours, I will be in anguish, over missing the order across various sites... and then paying a premium on NY or something (after missing a few of their restocks off course)

man, as much as I liked the Frontier Valks, I can't justify buying 3 Lucifers. Different strokes for different folks I suppose. The VF-25S though, is a whole other story

I've never liked the VF-27 design all that much, the glasses reminds me a lot of Aquarion. That said, I'm in for one of this to complete the collection. Also, his fighter mode is alright

I kinda agree. It is exciting to camp and the rush of having obtained one is simply awesome. But the forfeit for losing this "game" is to cough up the dough for a mark up.. if you can even get one. and that, is a pretty penny, considering the discount on some sites comparing to MSRP.

Looking at Amiami, I just realized Bandai's killing me, releasing 4 items I wanted to get all in the month of August alone....

The last pic in their order page is of the newer one though On that note, I think the reason Bandai didn't bother with doing a whole renewal for this is partly because they figured the VF-27 wouldn't sell as hot as the VF-25s

I keep seeing this pop up on Mandarake, ranging from 15000 to 18000 yen. Mostly unused and probably due to damaged boxes only. You may wanna camp there as well. But at that price, you might be better off with the NY stock

Apart from these, a few other Bandai figures are going up for preorder at the same time as well.. no doubt about it, that Amiami and other sites will be hit with the F5 storm as bad as the last few rounds

There are some available, both new and 2nd hand, but their prices are pretty steep. I've been holding out for a SP (2nd hand even) as long as it's around 18000 range.. if that's even possible. Strangely, I'm alright with the VF-25G and RVF-25 not having super parts, though I wouldn't mind it if Bandai does release them web exclusively in the near future. I'll definitely need to secure 2x25S somehow since I don't have any. Everything after that is just icing on the cake which I can do without, safe for the Chronos. on the topic of 171, I'm wondering if they will eventually re-release the 171EX but with the improvements they applied to the CF versions.

I have a little time to camp on Monday and Tuesday, so I hope preorders go up then.. Wednesday, not so much.. I just wanna get one piece in and be done with this. After that, it's just the VF-25S and the Monster (you think we'll ever see that reissued?), and some armour parts and I hope to be done with this series.. at least till the YF-29 Isamu version or YF-30 gets made

many news site are already calling it a Renewal version. Way to drive up hype and demand Wonder how impossible it would be to attain these. I'd hate to have to pay a mark up at NY, but will do it if I can't get one I suppose.

Okay, so is it Monday or Wednesday? Where are people getting the order release date from? Pictures and links I've seen only mention release in August, so how do we know when it goes up?

I can't believe I'm convincing myself to pay the 21000 price tag (or possibly higher if I can't secure one anywhere else), and yet haven't come to terms of coughing up more than 20000 yen for a VB-6 monster.... Dammnit Bandai!

Saw that price as I'm in their mailing list. La Tendo is nortoriously expensive in my country. They're pretty much catering to desperate people who missed any preorders (they didn't take any for Frontier Valks as far as I remembered), and anything after release is heavily marked up.
