I'm in the same boat. I feel I only need 1 VF-27 (especially at that price). I'll just transform it when I get sick of 1 form over the other. HLJ sure is taking a long time to get mine out (probably a week again).

Paid for shipping @ HLJ at last (arrived in the nick of time too), together with my other items.. kinda makes me realize being forced to use EMS isn't really saving me a lot of money to begin with... They don't seem to be shipping it out today though, and with the next 3 days being public holidays, it appear I'll be getting mine next week at best

Thanks for the reassurance, guys Kinda had a feeling it could be just a random QC check, but wanted to get some input here. " So far so good, and slapped on the armor parts I had. It's so heavy on the back that I get worried about ever transforming it into fighter mode with the armor on.. But it does look awesome in Battoroid mode.

incidentally.. anybody here ever had the experience of receiving brand new Valks which had double tape on them? What's up with that? The 25F that had the extremely tight nosecone issue I posted earlier came double taped (kinda raised a red flag with me).

wow.. that is so incredibly cool! They sound like such total bros... You must've been a big customer enough for them to actually take time off to do that. Really nice stuff, looking at the inner workings of a toy distributor like HLJ. Incidentally, my Ingram 2 arrived yesterday.. and she is so beautiful! Did a little check around and discovered that unit 2 had the same head (underneath that huge visor) as unit 1. Interesting tidbit (though I'm sure die-hard fans here already know about that). I was pleasantly surprised. Batteries placed in to test the lights, which worked fine. Kinda wished I could leave them inside without worrying about leaking problems. Definitely an impressive toy, though the arms are a bit tight to turn (kinda worry about breaking the joints, since I can't see them under the cloth). Funny how I'd be willing to shell out the insane price for this, and yet balk at the prices of other toys like Sideshow's 1/6 Jim Raynor or Arcadia's supposed Valk offering By the way, was it ever true that the Yamato Ingrams were produced in very limited numbers (1000pcs) ?

not exactly riobot but Sentinel finally showed official pics and price of Riobone Nono - 6000yen. interestingly their post also states black getter is priced at 9800 (could be discounted price) 10/10 would buy

looks like the cape really will have wires. hope they pull it off well. and holy crap! the getter beam port does open! would be cool if the mouth piece folded down as well. hope amiami can get a good discount on this

thanks for the tip! I totally forgot about the hair dryer trick (mostly cause I never have to use it) I finally. resolved it by gently wedging the tip of my exact-o blade in to try and wedge a little gap for to move. it finally folded properly. now I have a tight foldable nose cone

oh crap. got a spare vf-25 and found that the nose can't be folded fully during transformation. it seems 1 of the hinges is stuck tight. anyone experienced this before and know how to fix it?

oh don't get me wrong. I totally grabbed it faster than the mother freckin fist of the north star. I'm just lamenting how expensive it was, which is ironic cause I totally paid more than that for 3A's metal gear Rex. at least they were willing to under declare the total value, so my local customs won't get a shot at charging me as well

appreciate the thought darrinG! I randomly did a search at one of my 2nd hand haunts (after stopping for a few days) and lo and behold, there it was, for a butt rape price of 31,500. not too shabby, considering how much he usually goes for on Mandarake. they tell me there's no cig smell and missing parts, so keeping fingers crossed it's at least decent. here I was hoping to lighten my budget (what with the 25F release) and a wild grail appears haha

wait.. you can visit HLJ?! That must be awesome. Nice gallery.. still wish I could lay my hands on a Unit-02 I didn't even realize there was a subtle difference in the shoulders.. always thought it was just the head.

Based on the above, I guess Yamato's 1/48 stuff would really be the most valuable thing now.
