  1. who wants to take bets it would sell out instantly on NY anyway, before going back up at a super inflated price?
  2. I shudder at the thought of camping for the VF-25S reissue, because I need 3 of those...
  3. I can't wait to get this.. and then the VF-25S, and then the YF-30, so that I can be done with this line....
  4. DAMMNIT!! INsta-soldout!! All because the site bugged out on me
  5. NY has strangely not put this up yet, even after they put up all the other Bandai preorders.. .must be gauging how much to gouge us for 1 of these... UP ON HOBBY SSEARCH!! But the site is giving me problems!! AHH!!!
  6. and I thought the days of scrambling to get 1 of these were behind us
  7. says sold out instant i refreshed -.-
  8. Is that die-cast I see on the knee joints in the last Gerwalk pic? Also wondering how articulate this figure will be in Battoroid mode.
  9. If they did the ones that appeared in Macross Zero, I'd buy it. Love the Armored Core aesthetic it had.
  10. wow.. while it did worry me a little, I'm glad they're doing this many revisions of the prototype. Hopefully this will be the best YF-19 ever, and we won't need to fall back on a Arcadia V2 YF-19
  11. this is pretty bitchin'! But... not at that price
  12. You might also want to take note that the YF-29 takes up a lot of shelf space, regardless of modes, due to its wing span. I'm gonna be hanging most of my YF-29 via fishing lines soon because they take up such precious shelf space.
  13. any idea if this will be a retail release? Or better yet, a web exclusive? (I know we pay out the ass for web exclusives, but at least they're much easier to obtain). Also, on the topic of Ozma, I really tried to like him, but I felt he just didn't get enough exposure. Still he has the nicest Valk in the series though. He also still needs to top Roy's efforts in flying and taking down enemies while drunk hehe.
  14. Kinda glad I skipped getting a 2nd piece of the Isamu ver, but now I'm seriously considering getting 2 of these.. will probably stick to just 1 though, cause I still need space to put in 3 VF-25Ss!
  15. Of my collection which I got off Mandarake - YF-19 was good and tight - VF-171EX was good but I could've sworn there were cigarette smell.. could be something else.. - Armored VF-1J is perfect
  16. Thank you. You guys are the first ones to point out that the giga drill is hilarious lol (It's from Gurren Lagann for those who don't know. Pretty awesome over the top mecha anime) Raus are errmm... firing their arm cannons.. with what limited articulations they have. hahaha about 2m (H) x 2m (W) x 50cm internal depth
  17. sounds like an interesting idea, though that would require a very big (and expensive) riser. I think it would be better to just thread the lines through the top glass panel, since they are removable. Just gotta be careful about moving my top shelf stuff
  18. Pic is a slightly outdated set up of my collection. Didn't really plan out how I wanted it displayed, just sorta went with the flow. I more or less know that I could just either loop the thread with the glass panel above the Macross tier, or tie 1 end to a small stick or plastic to hold the line while it is clamped between the upper glass panel and the wooden shelf. Problem is that my upper tier is already set up, so I gotta move those before I attempt this. Will probably need to explore how I wanna position them as well.
  19. Never knew THE Actar was a Macross fan hahaha Which version is your YF-19? My V1 is a floppy mess, and yours managed to pull off some nice dynamic looking poses.
  20. I guess when it comes to 2nd hand toys, Mandarake is really as good as it gets. For Amiami and Jungle, I've been slightly disappointed before. But generally, Mandarake's stuff are mostly pristine with minor box damages unless stated otherwise.
  21. I've bought 2nd games from Surugaya-a-too via Rakuten before, and my impression of them is that they deal mainly in 2nd hand stuff.
  22. That's clever! I've been considering experimenting with something like fishing line to float valks in my own cabinets. This seems like a much better way to do it than what I had in mind.
