Fastest fingers first. CD Japan just put up 1 more for sale http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/NEOGDS-111209

man, the VF-171 mould was so un-fun to transform.. I'm not sure if I should plonk down the cash for this... it not being my favourite design, and having less space to display it...
-
30,000 yen on Amiami.. easy pass... I'm pretty happy with my Yamato one, which was gotten pretty darn cheap too
-
kinda wish i wasn't so late to the Frontier boat... while I've gotten mostly what I wanted, I'm still short of 3 x Ozma for my collection. Might skip this to make room for their potential re-release and the 2 x YF-30s I've got coming later.
-
Not sure if i want this. Never been a fan of the design much, though I do fancy it's Battroid mode. Also, the whole CF triangles issue ( I still have 2 which are fine)

Macross Frontier Movies BD Boxset WITH ENGLISH SUBS!
SaitouSad replied to Tochiro's topic in Movies and TV Series
well it says there're 5 in the box (i think).... so i guess it's not that big, but it does seem like a rather long box- 286 replies

what sorcery is this?! Just kidding. Lovely shots!

I hope they make it real soon. I've got stuff in my PW that are hitting the 60 days time limit in less than 2 weeks. NY's pretty anal about cancellations now. Some (including myself) have managed to get a cancellation by asking them really nicely on the live chat, while others have gotten away with not paying (though that maybe due to them having many upcoming orders). It's a risk if you wanna take it, and if you do succeed, best make it your last cancellation.

do you guys think perhaps that it was by keeping your Valks in their box that caused them to yellow? I understand the packaging plastic are prone to deterioration faster than the plastic used for toys. They release gas when they do, which will harm PVC toys, do I wonder if this would be the same for ABS.
-
^ While I'm no expert, it seems that even indirect sunlight (reflected off other surfaces) will cause damage to toys, though to a lesser degree than direct sunlight. Because I'm a paranoid freak, what I do i install UV film on my windows, followed by curtains which do allow a little light to penetrate through. I'd like to think it diminishes the damage more (plus the UV films help keep the room cool in my Armpit of the world of a Country). That said, all toys and plastic will deteriorate eventually, so just enjoy them while we can.

man... i wish i had the skills to panel line like that. Would do it on my spare 19
-
just a heads up to folks here who wants one. I'm cancelling my CD Japan order, so those who wants one at 20000yen, do keep a look out.
-
the YF-29 Ozma was from the game though. Plus, the repaint would be an easy cash grab.
-
when I see all those pallete swaps.. I start thinking if perhaps I should just get one instead of 2. Gonna need them display space
-
Hopefully this will be the last of the new Frontier Valks I need to worry about (I know, technically it's a Macross 30 release). Now.. if only Bandai would just reissue the VF-25S, I can finally be done with this line. Also, if anybody is interested, I have a spare order from CD Japan, which I will be letting go.
-
36 units last I checked. At this rate, everybody should be able to get one
-
after preorders are sold out, it reverts to the MSRP. Got my confirmation too. Thanks again! also @DSM - you can only order one. Think if you tried to order more, they would cancel it.
-
score!! and it's sold out. Thanks mog_kupo! Now I can finally release the order I have at CD Japan (or keep it as a 3rd? I dunno).
-
If the Ozma YF-29 is any indication, we'll see it sell out quickly on HLJ. Which sucks, because I for one would like to get one at HLJ instead.
-
that pricing is ridiculous. I recently got a spare unit 1 at 26,250Yen before shipping and handling. I guess the new live action series is sparking renewed interest in the Yamato 1/24s (which are arguable the best Ingrams in toy form). To date, the ones I have still remain my most favourite pieces in my collection.
-
would have liked a VF-1J with the black stripes. Looks pretty nice. Also 13 pcs left on NY's stock.
-
you missed a payment on NY, and they didn't cancel all your existing preorders and closed your account? I'll have to wait till next month for mine, as I had ordered it to be shipped with the Isamu YF-29 super parts
-
they're only stiff till you pose it in Gerwalk mode (angled all the way back). At least it was the case for me. The figure is still capable of standing though.
-
I'm on the same boat with wm cheng. While the Frontier Valks are difficult to get, it's not impossible. The Arcadia ones are a little too expensive for comfort, and will be difficult to support if they maintain this pricing policy. It doesn;t help that the latest YF-19, while very very execellent, has its share of problems (broken wings, loose ankles, etc)
-
^Anime-Export is usually always full price (MSRP) anyway.. and they likely have very limited pieces Edit: Wow that 22 pieces disappeared fast
