Nice improvements with the 3D eyes and mouth. I feel that the eyes are still too big and the gleam in her eyes are a bit artificial though, I'm not sure how you'll remedy that or if you're planning to... but if that is the style you're going for, then it's alright. Btw, all my comments aside, all you'll need now are a good hair style and a cool sexy pose, and your valkgirl is set!

Looking very good Mechmaster. I like how you've soften the hard, squarish chestplate to softer contours, while warping it a little to accomodate the roundness of her breasts. The shape of the chestplate is also retained nicely, while it looks convincingly comfortable enough for her to wear. One little nitpick though, I'm not sure if her eyes are going to be your final version, they just looked a little too big and flat for me. Maybe reducing them a little while retaining the eyes' distance apart from each other would do the trick. As for the flatness of the eyes, I'm not good with 3D software but maybe it will help if you model the eyes separately? About the nitpicking on the eyes, I'm sorry if you like it that way because certain anime eyes are also usually drawn like that.

I don't know much about Japanese TV, but you might want to check if that particular channel's cartoons are currently targeting more toward the female audience. If so, then the problem is identified. And you can now bombard him mentally, with all the "positive" guys' stuff. My kid is also 4 and like you, I've recently found out that he likes Sailormoon and Barbie dolls... only because he's so curious about the female gender, as I slowly unravel, after some quiet observation and talking to him -- He would ask me questions on why women are anatomically different from men or why girls would groom themselves differently. There are certain basic things that I've tried to nurture him into identifying on what's cool ,and what's not for boys his age -- Toys, clothes, certain things boys and girls should or shouldn't do... even to the extend of teaching him to identify masculine and feminine colors for example. So far, I don't think he can fully understand the ideas yet, but I do see some improvements. Maybe what I'm doing can be called stereotyping, but in my case, I consider it neccessary, for now, to steer my boy in the right direction. It's true that the mentality of the children below the age of 10 can be considered genderless. That's why I think parents need to influence their choices sometimes, in order to "nudge" them on the right track. But your kid did get you there on the Macross girls posters though, I would NEVER allow myself to be caught by my son like that. Ahem, I only do my Macross fanart stuff after he's asleep. If I'm in your position, I wouldn't buy him the Sailormoon dolls or anything remotely related to the show. Hey, you never know what sort of idea he might get if you do. Instead, I would buy the Kamen rider stuff. Bob the builder is also good.

I know there are teeth-whitening gels out in the market, for people (smokers usually) to clean their yellowed teeth. If that works for teeth, maybe it will work miracles for plastic. This might be worth a try. But it will be expensive I think.

Both my 1/60 and 1/48 Hikaru have turned yellow as well. I've tried cleaning them with a damp cloth with a little soap water, but to no avail. The yellowing on my 1/48 Hikaru however, is not as annoying as the 1/60 though, this is because all the white plastic parts on it are evenly yellowed. The 1/60 is a complete color Frankenstein! 1/60 Hikaru VF1A, "Sniff... BoB calls me a color Frankenstein... Sob!" 1/48 Hikaru VF1A, "There, there..."

I too have heard of Fire and Ice back in the day. I think I would be the only village frog in MW that haven't seen this animated feature. It's probably the "educated and civilised" Malaysian cencorship board's fault. But anything about Frazetta art for me is a sure sell. If they put it to DVD with all the extras about Frazetta, that would be very nice indeed.
