  1. Yep, that's the one (matrix). As a child, I had an obsession with pencil cases, but never owned a Macross one. These are all a first for me. Did these pencil cases ever get back into "style"? Or were they strictly an 80s thing?
  2. Very nice. As I was scrolling down, I was thinking to myself "Wonder if he has pencil cases" and of course, you delivered. Awesome stuff. I like the Matrix-style Valk pose (I'm sure you know which one I'm talking about)
  3. Probably not the best place to post, this, but it is a Mospeada thread! Anyways, do you guys remember this "Shareware" game that back out in the 80s? It can be played at the following link: https://www.myabandonware.com/game/reflex-point-3ua
  4. Man, those first set of photos are amazing. I can just 'feel" that Takatoku cardboard grain just by looking at them.

How many of you guys have the whole HMR line (or at least "near") up to this point? (and if you're missing just a few, please state why)
  6. Wonder if they used this OR the Transformers version, which came out a little while later (or maybe they were released simultaneously)...
  7. Wow. Never knew about this!!! Amazing. LMAO! I believe some Yamato valks made an appearance in SDFM as well. Wonder if Hikaru still has 'em!
  8. Have you seen Japanese Toy Robots in movies? (Macross, Gundam, Chogokin, Mospeada, Transformers, etc.) If so, post 'em here. I'll start... Heart of Dragon (1985) – starring Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung:
  9. Thanks to all replies. Someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Sorry to those who were wanting some – I never intended this thread to be a marketplace.
  10. Apologies, Rabidweezil. I never intended to sell these on here (or even advertise them until they were on ebay), but ended up getting PM'd by interested buyers who already made me an offer. If the buyer changes his mind, I'll let you know.
  11. I'm going to put these guys on eBay, so you'll definitely get your opportunity. I'll send you a msg you a direct link when complete.
  12. I've had these laying around for sometime (years), but I can't recall if they're for the 1/48 or 1/60 Yamatos or Arcadias (or both). They fold, too. My guess is that they're the 1/60 shoulder hinges for either Yamato or Arcadia? Was it Yamato that shipped a bunch of these out to a user on this forum (then he, in turn, distributed them?) (I have since moved on to the HMR line, so don't have anything to compare them to)
  13. Is it exactly as the GBA game? I wonder if they sacrificed some audio and visuals (missing levels?) to "fit" it in there. I hope you review it! Happy belated B-day btw.

What you're saying goes great, visually, with your avatar.

That would be funny if they "rebooted" the line again after coming so close to a "full on" collection of HMR Macross toys.
  16. Thought I'd share with you guys, since it has some Japanese giant robot type-action. Just released on April 7th. More info: https://cityonfire.com/silver-mask-super-robot-red-baron-bravestorm-brave-storm-mitsu-dan-shunsuke-daito-shu-watanabe/
  17. Appreciate your reply. Thanks, and keep up the good posting work of these unique, rare visuals.
  18. Hell yeah. Thanks for posting. More more more! This is a long shot, but I have to ask: Would you happen to have any of the original catalogs/marketing material for the Select Convertors line?
  19. I did. And my ship died. Died. Died. Died. Died. =)
  20. Man, has anyone ever beat the Arcade version of GRADIUS? Even with real-time, in-game saves, it's impossible to beat. I recently bought all those Konami collections that came out for Switch. I basically completed all of the games (Contras, Castlevanias, etc), but when I got to the Gradius games (Life-force, etc), I gave up. Good stuff. Awesome thread. I love retro gaming and artwork.
  21. I said this before, and I'll say it again, it's all about the very first wave (in their original sourced colors). I guess if I had all the money in the world, I'd go for the rest of 'em, but these are the ones that caught my eye. Again, thanks to @glane21 for the recent addition:
