    YEah probably. The rest is just such unintelligble nonsense, it's tough to see what's relevant and whats not. After all, given how "out there" the end of Zero was, a sentence like could very well describe a hypothetical new Macross series.

    Bite your tongue! Macross 7 was bad enough, and I don't want to see the day anything resembling SEED is added to the franchise. Now, IF such a rumor turns out to be true, I hope Kawamori (assuming he's even involved) gets some help with the writing and direction. His Arjuna/M: Zero/Aquarion stories are all beginning to blur together. Macross could definitely use some fresh blood. I wonder if Ishiguro could be coaxed back.

    No video game cutscenes to be found here. Igloo is an all new, six part OVA. I don't know about he DVD on eBay (but I imagine they're typical engrish bootregs) but you can download fansubs of the first three episodes HERE and the next 3 episodes HERE. It's highly recommended viewing for any UC Gundam fan.

    Great news, Anasazi37! The community should be grateful that these fine decals (and stickes, I guess) are still going to be available. Now, how about some Macross Zero repro decals....?

    I've got to side with ChrisG on this one. It is unfortunate that there's changes, even mostly unexplained changes like the music, but it's hardly the end of the world. I'm not a big enough Gunbuster fan to own multiple sets, and since having some english content is a must for me, I'll gladly buy this set as opposed to an import. It's still leagues better than my current copy, consisting of some fansubs I found online a couple of years back.

    His delivery is definitely lacking (unless that's supposed to be part of the angry nerd character), but I still find it amusing at times. Lets face it, some of those old games DID suck. I know I certainly remember a few Sega Master System games that were equally unplayable. He should drop the overly long episodes like the Friday the 13th/Nightmare on Elm Street ones, and stick to shorter3-4 minute videos focusing on lousy controls, vague instructions and impossible jumps.

    Hey, just think; It was 10 years ago today that a certain segment of the fan base collectively got their childhoods sodomized by Star Wars: A New Hope SE. You'd think they would have moved on with their lives by now....ah, why bother trying to rationalize it anymore?

    I tried this torrent again, and to my amazement I got a connection to not only one, but TWO peers! The connection speed is hovering around 20 kb/s, which is slow for me but a 2000% improvement over yesterday.

    None from me, sadly. I'm a relative amateur when it comes to torrents. All I know is that I'm on Shaw, and using Y Torrent I get great speed. Damn, and all I wanted was a copy of DYLR and VFX-2.

    I'm trying to download the "Macross Games" torrent from iMacross4, and this is going to take forever. I'm currently only getting 1kb/s.

    That line art is has too much foreshortening to really be usefull. Unfortunately, that's how Kawamori likes to draw 'em, so what can we do? However, the CG pic David posted is much better, and I think it compares pretty favorably. I still find I prefer the Hase interpretation, but of course it doesn't have to concern itself about transforming.

    As much as I like the crummy old originals, these are starting to grow on me. And look....Gung-Ho isn't wearing baby blue anymore!

    Oh the originals are definitely dated, in nearly every conceivable sense. I'm just at the point where a new, shiny version of the old toy has little or no connection with me. The originals, however, have nostalgia working for them. At least these 25th Anniversary figures resemble the originals, unlike most of the crap thats been sold under the GI Joe name in the last decade.

    Meh....collectors can bite my shiny metal ass. If Joe collectors are half as bad as the Star Wars collectors I used to hang out with (and occasionally see on other sites) then they're in dire need of a sound beating. This toys-as-an-investment mentality is retarded. Was there a similar meltdown when the reissue G1 Transformers hit the shelves?

    Neat, but I'd almost rather see a straight-up reissue of the original 12 or so figures, maybe even on blister cards that replicate the original packaging. THAT I would honestly buy.

    Some people here really need to look up the phrase "suspension of disbelief." You can accept transforming jet fighters combatting a race of giants from the other side of the galaxy, but the notion of more than one variable fighter under development at one time is a deal breaker?
