My feelings exactly. Kill Bill was fun to watch, but it was about as deep as a Mr Turtle pool. Once you come down from the giddy high of the fights, most people realize that Bill was pretty vapid. At it's worst, it's masturbatorily self-indulgent. Definitely NOT Tarantino's best work.

I'm not seeing it. For one thing, Bonaparte had 4 individual tracks, where the FT-17 has the traditional two. The FT-17 is very typical of the "tankette" concept that was very popular between the wars, so perhaps in that sense it could be considered a spiritual ancestor of Bonaparte. Has there ever been a garage kit of Bonaparte? That'd be awesome to build!

But which version of Highlander 2? The "renegade Version," while still an odiferous steaming pile of Yak dung, is arguably a better film than the original theatrical version. There's also a funny looking white piece that'll help hold it all together. It fits in behind the battroid's neck. I don't know how else to describe it....it's a white thing that doesn't appear to have any purpose.

When the most exciting part of the whole movie is a monkey smashing things with a bone. Lets also not forget the repair scene... *shudder* Would it have been better if there'd been some explosions? Or maybe a car chase? A hovercar chase? Or maybe the astronauts should have worn black leather coats and sunglasses?

The sequence in DYRL where Hikaru saves Minmay shows the hands pretty explicitly. Maybe somebody could make you some screencaps of that scene....?
