  1. Eh...it's not bad. I knew who it was supposed to be, but otherwise it's not spectacular. Like EXO said, I'd like to see cwmodels version finished.
  2. Bblarrgh!! I really shouldn't be so shocked. That's what I get for getting my hopes up like that. But I checked EB Games webstore, and they still list the street date as March 31st. I wonder if GameStop is just getting nervous and moving the street date out. It'd all be so much easier if Valve would just tell the world what's going on.
  3. No...where did you see that.
  4. Wipe them out. All of them.
  5. Gundam Project > Gundam.com Past tense, of course.
  6. Why do I have this overwhelming urge to go and play with my guns now? Surely it's not because this toy is a bad influence.
  7. On the one hand, Hugh Jackman is always interesting to watch. On the other hand, Stephen Sommers is, at best, a second rate writer/director. I could go either way on this one.
  8. Ye Gods, is that thing huge!! I'd have to say that a 1/60 VF-0 would be my ceiling for a larger scale toy, both in shelf space and credit card capacity.
  9. There's a keyboard command to toggle the "zoom" function. I don't recall what the default was for certain, but it may have been "m." Once you activate it, you can zoom the scope just like the binoculars.
  10. Look no further than Mr Disco's posting of...
  11. Man, I am just the opposite, I always hated the Alpha/Legioss design,, but the Cyclone/Ride Armor on the other hand I thought looked very cool. Now an Alpha/Beta Legioss/Tread linked on the other hand looked really good, I think that is my problem with the Alpha/Legioss, it looks like half a plane to me. Anyhow, I thought I read somewhere that HG/Toynami are the only ones with rights to produce Mospeada toys, so if their line doesn't do it for me, I will probably be out of luck. Here is to hoping for a linking Beta/Tread You're both heretics, and should be stoned to death by an angry mob asap. Now...nobody throws a stone until I give the order. I think it looks pretty decent, overall. However, there's a few features that do bug me. The nose and cockpit looked much better on the Imai kit. Look at the picture Jung posted of his kit, for example. I also liked the shape of the wings on the Imai better than Toynami's.
  12. How about we tell you to take your complaining to PM already? Seriously dude, get off the cross. Someone else needs the wood.
  13. I was more disappointed by Yamato's choice of scale for the VF-0. I'm guessing that they want to a wider gap between the "low end" Macross toys and the "high end" toys. With that in mind, a small scale, parts swapping VF-0 is acceptable to me. If the reviews are good and the price is right I'll get one.
  14. Weren't there some really cool photochop pictures of the Yamato VF-11, once upon a time? I think they were on the old boards somewhere.
  15. Oh, I agree with you. It's just that, as a Macross Fanboy, it's my sworn duty to have unrealistic expectations of Yamato. In fact, just this morning I woke up, had a shower, and found that Yamato hadn't made my breakfast. "WTF?" I asked my 1/48, "Where's my toast and oj?" And of course, in true Yamato fashion all a got was a stony silence.
  16. Damn, you read my mind (again). I need to work on my tinfoil hat. But yeah, I agree %1000.
  17. Well I for one would certainly not object to an english version of the Yamato site. Aside from JsARCLIGHT's contrarian rantings, I don't see why anybody wouldn't like seeing the site in english. Then again, doesn't most of their non-Macross toys come out through Toycom anyhow? Are we really missing that much?
  18. First quarter, AFAIK. I'm just not sure if the Vietnam war really lends itself to BF1942 style gameplay. It's kind of like having a WW1 Grand Theft Auto game.
  19. That makes me want to track down one of those reissues Imai put out just before they tanked. I hope those molds resurface someday.
  20. Anybody who wants to see what a potential MPC Cyclone should look like, should go here: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...t=ST&f=3&t=4936
  21. Great work, Jung!!! Those Imai kits are sooooo underappreciated. Toynami would be lucky if their Cyclone ever looks half that good. Please tell me you did something to reinforce the hip joints on Stick, though. I'd hate to see them snap like mine did, back in the day.
  22. I dunno...it just looks like that same "male" face Tommy Yune cut and pastes onto every character he draws. Change the hair and you've got his rendition of Rick Hunter. Change the hair again, and you've got Jack Archer. Oh yeah, the MPC looks pretty good.
  23. Awesome! Be sure to post your review!
  24. Well, I'm sold! I just watched the various trailers on the official site, and after playing the demo last night I am definitely buying this game. Be sure to check out the game engine demo, particularly the part where they demonstrate how easy it is to create levels. You actually can build it in realtime and play it right away to see how it works. Astounding stuff!
  25. Nah...you should download it anyway. From what I've been reading today, half the fun is exploring the island after you've killed all of the enemies. There's lots of easter eggs (like a rotten WW2 Zero crashed in the jungle) and stealable vehicles. But even if you don't DL it, the street date should be within the next couple of months. Doom 3 and Half Life...? Well, the less said about those two, the better. I don't want to tempt fate into giving us yet more delays.
