Actually, I don't know whether he did do the Master. I think he did. What I meant to say is that he didn't do any of the Okawara G Gundams. The MG G Gundam and Spiegel weren't drawn by him in the manuals.

Still don't hold a candle to a Studio Reckless Gundam, even if it is something as simplistic as a Pixy: http://www5e.biglobe.ne.jp/%7Ereckless/gal.../pixy/pixy.html Or as classic as a Rx-78-2 and Rx-77-2: http://www5e.biglobe.ne.jp/%7Ereckless/gal...X-78-2002a.html http://www5e.biglobe.ne.jp/%7Ereckless/gal.../77-2/77-2.html Or as flashy as a Rx-78-4/5: http://www5e.biglobe.ne.jp/%7Ereckless/gal.../78-4/78-4.html http://www5e.biglobe.ne.jp/%7Ereckless/gal.../78-5/78-5.html Or as utilitarian as a GM Spartan: http://www5e.biglobe.ne.jp/%7Ereckless/gal...an/spartan.html Or as impressive as a Byg Zam ver Ka.: http://www5e.biglobe.ne.jp/%7Ereckless/gal...ma/byg/byg.html Now that's what I call Gundam Integral. Well, the Studio calls it that too, but it makes perfect sense.

Damn steady hands, dude. Those painted on markings are pretty frakking impressive! Oh yeah... Cutting those eight antennas on the nose out of styrene sheet when I build the SV-51 will be a complete chore, but I hope it will be worth it. The thick plastic thing isn't doing it for me.

Not all of them. He wasn't involved in the MG G Gundams either. BEE-Craft did the illustration for those, if I recall.

The one we see on that cover has had considerable cosmetic work done on it. The kit looks nothing like that. I noticed flaws since the first early prototype shots were passed around the net. I wonder what Katoki's version would look like too, though he has no hands in the MG SEED projects. The MG Aile Strike was drawn by BEE-Craft, not Katoki. I want the MG Sword or Launcher Strike, in Phase Shift down colors. The Aile pack is so... boring.

David: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/uploads/po...-1078103458.jpg I'm guessing that he's not airbrushing the silver.

Those arms are considerably thinner than the 1/144 counterpart. In anycase, I prefer the smaller Astray. I think they really fraked up the bigger one. I hope there are no mistakes for the MG version.

All this in a non-Tomino Gundam series... Hmm... Is Fukuda going to be the next Tomino (or Tomino wannabe)? PS: Didn't V Gundam have lots and lots of dead people in it?

Haha. I think that was a given. I know. That's why rocket engines have their own oxygen supply on board. Still, it sure as hell ain't pushing the shuttle against the atmosphere.
-
Jet engine operation and lift are two completely different things. Tell me this, how does the space shuttle's rocket engines, which work on the same principle as the jet engine, maneuver the shuttle around? There's no air in space. What's it pushing against? In any case, the VF-0 designs kick.

Bleh desu. Ugly and boring Tidus and Yuna clones. I'd hate to have to look at that mug for most of the game. Bring back Chrono. Bring back Luminaire. BRING BACK ANTIPODE III!
-
I think those are decals.

OH MY GOD! My head is going to explode. Jets need something to push against to operate!? Jets aren't as effective in space because there's no air to push against!? Isaac Newton is spinning in his grave. Jets don't have to push against anything to operate. If anything, the engine would be far more effective in space because there is no drag from the atmosphere. The only reason why we use rocket engines instead of jet engines is because rocket engines comes with a solid oxygen supply to burn, which jets need but space doesn't provide. The next person to insist that jets need to push against something to operate will be flamed by me.

http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=5881 About the 35th post, William starts detailing how he got rid of the mold line on the VF-0S' canopy. It will work for any and all mold lines down canopies.

It definitely has an OverDard feel. You can usually tell a kit is OverDard when it seems like the woman comes with three heads on a body with almost no hips. In anycase, I like this kit. Risque is always, always good, to a point. Accuracy be damned. The breasts don't look anything like the original Millia, so why should the face? PS: OverDard is the sculptor's pseudonym.

Any New Macross projects after M0 ?
Stamen0083 replied to Black Valkyrie's topic in Movies and TV Series
13 to 26 episodes? Aim lower, why don't cha? :-P I want a 52 episode series, where every other episode is full on, gratuitous mecha action, and every episode before it is character driven drama fest. 26 for the character people. 26 for the mecha people. -
More HGUC goodness for Gundam 0080

That Chris figure (I think there's a kit of her too, but I'm not sure) has the best face sculpt, ever. The body isn't half bad either. If they lose the chunky arms, I'd be all over that thing. -
Opinion: best starfighter designs ever

Perhaps I exaggerated a bit much when I said the rider plays no part in keeping the bike balanced. He plays a part, but my point was that if the wheels were not rotating, balancing the bike would be a hell of a lot harder. Even you should realize that. They don't count, since they can pretty much balance anything. I'm talking about the average Joe riding a bicycle down the street. I'm fully aware of tolerance, but thanks for the tip. You keep missing my point! The rotating will introduce a vector which will work to counteract forces against it. A ship with that much mass will have a very big force vector, so the forces the crew introduce would be insignificant compared to it. You know what? I'm done. If you don't understand, it's too bad. I've wasted enough time and brain cells here. -
I have started using Gunze Mr. Cement recently, and I refuse to go back to CrapTastic Testors. It's very thin, sets in a few seconds, melts the plastic and gives a very powerful bond. I love it, especially for scratch building. It's cheaper than Testors too, per bottle.

It does not matter if there is no up or down. Like you said, if one section is rotating, it might drag the rest of the ship with it, making it rotate too. Spinning another section the other way will drag the ship in the other direction, hence it will cancel out the rotation introduced by the first section. The rider plays no part in keeping the bicycle balanced. If that was the case, then a bicycle rider should have no problem keeping the bike balanced when it's not moving. Prove me wrong if you can. No, it doesn't, and that's my point. The vector introduced by the rotating sections would minimize whatever forces are introduced by the internals. If you don't know this from basic physics, then I don't want to do this with you. You'd be right here for a ship that does not have anything to counteract the internal forces. However, for one thing, the mass of the crew compared to the mass of the shuttle or space ship is effectively negligible, so the pushing against the walls on the inside does not affect the outside all that much. This is especially true for massive spacecrafts. However, like I said, the rotating section's force vector would negate that even more. Yes. In an episode of Star Trek Voyager, something happened to the artificial gravity on the ship, and Janeway's quarters had no gravity. Her coffee was floating all over the place, as did the rest of her stuff in the room. At least, as far as I recall. PS: What does Retracting Head Ter Ter mean? -
Not quite. Like I mentioned above, the Strike Valk kit comes with both the micromissile launcher parts. It has an extra sprue for the Strike cannon, but you can still build the Super version. Can anyone else support or refute this? I remember pretty distinctly... Although I can take a picture of the trees tonight, after I get home, to make sure.

There's only so many polygons you can slap on a design before it starts to look stupid. Besides, isn't the mapping of complex textures on polygons pretty CPU intensive, especially when the complexity involved is on the level of the VO: M Temjin? Every movement requires recalculation and reprojection, unless, of course, some fancy mapping algorithm was involved.

There should be two sections rotating in opposite directions to offset the drag. How? Even elementary physics tells us that anything rotating introduces a force vector that resists changes. How else does a bicycle balance? Gyroscopes? Inertial Navigation System? If anything, rotating the ship would cause the ship to stay in its path more, assuming a dead on course was plotted, of course. -
Screw you guys. I get dibs on the polka dotted scheme and the fluffy winged yellow scheme.
