  1. Well, it's true that two really skinny girls are better (in a manner of speaking) than one really skinny girl, but one hot girl is ALWAYS better than two really skinny girls. ;-) Boobs are better than ribcage.
  2. I was kidding. I live in Goleta, so it's close, but not close enough. Happy belated birthday, in any case.
  3. Whaaat? Why was I not invited? Bastard. :-P
  4. Twelve? That's a bit old, ain't it? I stopped receiving presents when I was... eight. In a way, it made me a little bitter and cynical.
  5. Because the Rx-78-2 is supposed to look like this: http://www5e.biglobe.ne.jp/~reckless/galle...X-78-2002a.html Ugliest, most boring? I hardly think so. Have you seen Gundam SEED or SEED Destiny designs? PS: With any luck, the GFF Gundam ver. Ka. will look like that, and I will stop bitching at Bandai for not releasing at least one accurate Rx-78-2 ver. Ka.
  6. Ordnance: http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=ordnance In short, armament or weapons. $29.99 for both Super or Strike and regular version? That is a very good deal, depending on how much shipping is. I don't recommend posting the link here, though, as I'm very likely to take it away from you. :-P Nah, I probably won't. I'm out of money. That CG model looks great, Dat. Everyone in the CG thread does great stuff.
  7. Yes, exactly. Now, what about the VF-0 series and the VF-11?
  8. :ahem: So, where are the options for the VF-0 series and the VF-11?
  9. Battroid wings are supposed to be too small, so they can tuck in behind the body. If they are as big as the wings in fighter mode, the folded wings will look absolutely ridiculous. The old hips didn't work very well, so the new hips are improved. I have not used the old hips myself, so I don't know what its failings are, but why play with fire?
  10. Can't help you with pictures, since I don't do toys, but I can almost guarantee that you won't want that, since once you see the model next to the toy, you're going to want to discard that overpriced, poorly detailed transforming thing and invest all the money and time you have in building plastic rather than virtual models.
  11. I have almost 800 posts already. Am I still considered a n00b here?
  12. In case you're wondering, Dat, the Super/Strike kits include the parts to build the regular versions.
  13. Pheh. It's not injection molded, Hasegawa sculpt.
  14. Where are the options for the VF-0, VF-1, and VF-11?
  15. Extra Finish means that the kit is plated, just like the HGUC Extra Finish Gouf and Quebeleys a few years back. When all is said and done, Extra Finish kits are collectors' items, meant to be kept in box (and never grows in value), as the kits cannot be completed to any degree of satisfaction.
  16. The Batmobile from Batman Forever. Coolest car. EVER.
  17. Unique doesn't make it any less ugly. GFF Xi was unexpected, granted, but the choice is understandable, as it is NOT UGLY, and still very unique. And if SEED mechs are as unique as the PG Strike, then yes, I do prefer SEED mechs over any Syd Mead abominations. The point is if you want a GFF Turn A that badly, you can hold your breath, but it will most likely never come.
  18. Don't bother. There will never be a Turn A GFF because that design is so hideously ugly that no one in their right mind will buy it.
  19. That leg frame is nothing new. It's just a recycle from 2000's Gundam ver. 1.5. It took them five years to finally do something worthwhile with it though.
  20. Thanks for the compliments. They're not deserved, but I'll take them. :-D Peter, all carbon fiber finish? That is incredible. My next model has some carbon fiber in it, and it was a bitch and a half. Maybe I should consider using separate pieces next time, instead of using one whole piece. I'm going to go carbon fiber crazy with the next model I build. JGTC NSX are just so incredible, aren't they? And just for the record, how many NSX kits do you have? I have two Tamiya Acura NSX and one avex Dome Mugen NSX. No R type. I really would like more, but I'm more of a Ferrari fan at the moment. PS: Any chance you can take more pictures of that Rosso NSX kit? Better yet, any chance of selling it to me? :-P
  21. Must have been the base. It's the base of a display case. The part with the roll bars refused to fit properly without epoxy putty to blend the whole thing together. All the details are incredibly inaccurate, and crappily soft/poorly molded. I spent much time scraping mold lines and recarving things from engine parts. Most of the other problems I faced had to do with inexperience, like hasty clip job that resulted in a snapped windshield frame that still plagues the thing to this day. My next one will be better. It may not be good, but it will be better.
  22. I like the Spider version better than the Coupe. Mostly because of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit II. See here for more: http://www.uweb.ucsb.edu/~stamen0083/progs/041025/ Looking forward to Tamiya Ferrari F430 Spider kit. PS: Folks, please share your car model pictures.
