He means that the un-customized Yamato version can adopt a spread stance cause it has a ratcheted joint connecting the hips my vf-19 also can do the pose in your pic. but it's too far away from the custom one.... maybe you really didn't know what happen in the custom one, the feet in the custom one is in " toe out" and your one is just " toe in" normally, if you think the custom one just simple spread out the feet, sorry, that's not the point.

maybe I play my vf-19 for a long time, known the suck hip joint can't make these cool pose, so note that at once. next time I will add some mark on it to indicate the different the yf-19 fp , I will forget it, untill yamato have press release about this secret VF , I don't like to wait something for a long time, so forget it for a while~

the customizer add ball joint in the hip and the neck, then cut off some part of the 2nd hip joint,make the movable area increase much, also a resculpt head, these four point make the battroid and gerwalk mode look much better.

HA HA, I think those guy there (EXCEPT WOLFX) think "CUSTOM" ONLY = "REPAINT"....

no one can help, because yamato macross plus series didn't come with any sticker guide.....

did you get the YF-21 FP? my 21 FP hip joint very lose, I don't know is it same as your problem, but I open the joint, apply some BLU-tack in the joint to solve this prolbem, have a nice result~ about the sticker guide, as I know, the offical design also haven't much detail marking, I just apply the round arrow sign and "21" at the right place, you can follow the box's pic. to apply it. and the other, because each kind of the sticker have their specify meaning, so I think we can use the vf-1 for the reference.( better than nothing )

are those hands the hands the 1/60's come with?...they kinda look like the hasegawa battroid hands it's just the original one, you've illusion

I want to say is, if yamatio make the hip armor thiner and smaller, the look must be better than now. I have a minor photoshop retouch for the hip proportion, let see and give some comment

the big fists can't fit on the 1/48.. the joint rod too thick. and have a little problem about the hip joint, the leg too easy to get off after put on the armor, because the thick armor steal much space of the hip joint
