I just hope they don't turn this into a soap opera.

Never thought the Sovereign class looked much like the Constitutions, but I still love its lines.

Maybe it's because I grew up with it, but the orginal TOS Constitution class is still my favorite. I was never big on the Enterprise/Constitution II class. It's not that bad looking, but it's not my favorite. I'm not a fan ofthe Galaxy class. Never thought they were good looking ships. Anything looks better than an Excelsior, though. Hate the way those things look. I love the Ambassodor class. Enterprise C had just enough of that old school look to endear itself to me. I also really like the aggresive lines of the Soveriegn class. Enterprise E has got to be one of the best looking 'Prises. I'm still not too sure about this new old Enterprise. It looks like they slapped the refit's saucer on an otherwise organic ship. Everything but the saucer looks like it was built by the Minbari. And, I hate that bridge design. Looks like an iPod threw up. The 60s called, they want their stark white sets back. I miss the utilitarian grays of the orginal series.

Fringe had some fun with it, this week.

I saw these, but the only one I'd be interested in would be a TOS Enterprise.

Gattai's sub for ep 4 is out.

I'd be more surprised, if it isn't. Looks like the unreleased Resolute stuff is going to be coming out in the movie line. Might end up being part of a store exlusive, though. The same way Resolute Gungho is being packaged with a Copperhead repaint as a wal-mart exclusive in a movie labeled two pack.

Yeah, it's crazy. When they fly into Siberia, you see Wild Bill and a copilot, while Ripcord and Airborne are helping Duke and Scarlett get geared. When they pull Duke and Scarlett back up, there only seem to be one or two people left on the plane. Another nefarious Cobra plot?

The Vamp's a mishmash. It's got the Cheetah's body work, but looks to be based on the chassis of the two seat prototype the U.S. Army was developing, that the Cheetah was based on. I never have figured out how AM General managed to take a small two seat mid engine Jeep replacement, and turn it into the Humvee. I do share your love of those early Joe vehicles, that had real worl influence. Some of the later stuff was fun, but just didn't have the same charm. As far as real world designs making their way into Joe vehicles, I still find it hysterical that the Cobra Rage has a scaled down M60A2 turret, complete with the gunner's and loader's hatches.

Interesting to see Aphroditi A not being totally useless. Having watched Mazenkaiser recently, I'm used to seeing Sayaka's mechs getting completely over powered, and need to be rescued by one of the Mazingers. Of course, those are pretty low level villain mechs. I'm sure we'll see more damseltron in distress, later.

I updated my VLC player, and it's showing them, now.

If that Gattai file has subtitles, they're not displaying for me.

Oh great. Now, I've got a magical girl style transformation sequence stuck in my head.... Anyone know how to poke out one's own mind's eye? (Actually, that could probably make for a good action comedy, if done right. )

The way my luck goes, after failing ratings, due to the fact that my life is incredibly boring, they decide to revamp it. Ripping off another anime, they have me get hit by an alien spaceship, and the aliens rebuild me as a girl, for no apparent reason. I suppose, if I could be cute.... The one I'd like: Werewolf with access to high technology, trying to live a normal life, is constantly called upon to battle high tech bad guys, and supernatural forces, bent on destroying the world as we know it. Nasty looking magic sword is a must. Maybe I could even get to drive a giant wolf shaped mech, on occasion.

Still watching Bleach and Rideback. Finally got the chance to sit down and watch ep 10 of Rideback. All I can say is Dude! Not cool.... The first time those white rides showed up, I wanted to see somebody beat the everlovin' tar out of them. That opinion has been reinforced.

I'm a little dissapointed that the show seems to be slowly moving towards combat. I was hoping that I'd finally picked up on a mecha anime that didn't involve war or revolution. At least Rin's not the typical mecha kid. She doesn't seem to be arrogant, or emo.

SWEET! Can't wait for this. Wonder if Venus/Aphrodite will still have the structural integrity of wet cardborad, depsite being made out of the same stuff as Mazinger? Now, Where's Boss Borot?

I think the 90s and late 80s were the height of neon, for Joe. I loved the early 80s stuff, with its subdued military colors. One of my favorite modern Joes I own, is my custom Duke, that I repainted with Model Master military colors.

Those humans look disturbingly like pretender shells for the Autobots. Is that a tiny chunk of Cybertron? Why do I feel like they're finishing the show up with a TV movie? I have absolutely no bassis for that idea, it's just a feeling I have.

Altitude IS Ripcord. I guess they felt they couldn't give him his proper name, since the movie version of Stalker has usurped it. I'm also dissapointed in Wetsuit. He needs siegie or Viper lower legs and feet, and TF Flint's arms would have made a lot more sense than the green shirt arms. I'm thinking I might get some of the armored movie Joes just to kitbash into some of my techno-organic beasties. Shouldn't take much more than a little Apoxie Sculpt, and some paint.

All I'm interested in is Minbender, Wetsuit, and Ripcord. I'm not buying two seven packs for three figures. Maybe in single or two pack form they can get Wetsuit's arms right, and Ripcord's name right.

I liked the ultra violence. I liked both. They were entertaining, in different ways.
