Yeah I was there too. Wasnt Kumakubo and Kazama Drift off simply outstanding? I think Kumakubo should have gotten 3rd. Not the 4dr Skyline. I got there a little late, around 12. DId you see VF1X's Car? The Auto S13 sponsored by Pacrim? It was driven by Dai-kun. I only saw it on Thusrday during the qualifying rounds. Was able to mount my camera inside. Eternal D, Kidk and I were supposed to get rides. Rides!!!! But officials chickened out and gave insurance excuses even though rides were given on Tuesday. WEll atleast I got video from inside. THank you Jerry!!! Any way he told me what happened to his car but it wasnt very detailed.

This almost seems to belong in another part of the forums. But anyway, Robotech lit the fire of admiration for transforming robotic planes. When i learned about the truth behind Robotech I wasn not so keen to teh perversion of one man's creation, Shoji Kawamori. I guess as a fan I try to get as close as possible to the true essence. the original source as i can. Almost all fans try that in one way or another. Take trekkie fans. Some love it so much they live it in that secret society of theirs and speak Kingon. Anyway what im saying is I liked robotech to the point I wanted to learn more. You took a different approach when you discovered the truth. I went the other way and embraced the pure macross rather than the Robotech version. While I myself have qualms with Robotech and HG in particular, it doesnt matter does it? You like RB and I like Macross leave it at that. I am glad to hear that you did give the real macross a try before formulating opinions.

One of my jobs is at a Edwards Theaters and I have heard that song cleaing up after hundreds of movie goers. Im an Usher. And I hate that song. Hey I jsut had a great idea. Get one of the new World's Smallest Transformer Wave 2 Megatrons and use it for the 20th. Hopefully it will be the same size and yet transform!!! I knwo the toy wont have the sliding grip to accomodate optimus hand But if it transformes liek the original the whole grip will come down.

I dont think a recast is possible since this is a model kit. Too thin to recast I would imagine. In terms of difficulty, as long as you have a mitre box and a razor saw its relatively easy. Zip kicker seemed to have a slightly negative effect. It seemd to start to eat the plastic. Also I woudl get cracks in the plastic. MAybe its the glue. Not sure. But I lost a knee joint to this and had to re build one out of ball socket joints. Only took like a night and the morning to slap this rough build together. Im sure in teh hands of much mroe skilled artisans like kidk or WM Cheng this would look much better. But I will paint it and wait and see what I do next. I have a gimmick for this little guy to make him cuter.

Lonely Soldier boy: This is the Famous Joke Machine. Yes it is fully transformable. Its transformation sequence is identical to Bandai's 1/55 series. (Bandai made this toy back in the 80's) There are slight changes like the cockpit rotates to reveal the heat shield and the fast pack and armor plug in rather than clip on. Yep. mostly stock. I trimmed the radar a tad but other than that thats all you need

Jsut got Metroid Zero Missions. If you are a fan of the Original Metroid and Super Metroid you will like this one. This blows Super Metroid out of the water in terms of graphics. Nintendo did a great job with this one. Any of the Super Mario Bros. Games Super Mario Advance 1: Super Mario 2 Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario 3 Super Mario Bros Super stars is a similar to Mario RPG. Lots of fun in that too.
