I think it is partly the bragging rights. I have this and you dont. Now the person doesnt have to flaunt their collections but they have it for their own personal enjoyment. My grandfather collects ancient chinese art. Ming vases, wall scrolls and other stuff that is priceless. He has a huge collection. on occasion he sends some of it on tour. but that is the tip of the iceberg. He collects it cause he likes it. Probably also because it is worth something. You rant about the book ends but they are nice looking. Ok here is another example. I like 1/55 Valks. I like the fact that i own a pretty nice GBP-1S in box, takatoku more so than my Bandai reissues. Why is that? Perhaps it is nostalgia and the fact that it is the original!!! About the 1:1 helmets you are wrong, fans do buy them and then some buy too much (ahem someone I know but with holding the name to protect the innocent) Some times companies/individuals are limited to how many they can make. Take Wonderfest. Those individuals make the craziest stuff I have ever seen but supposedly the con limits them to a really small run of liek no more than 20 can be made. The CMS limited were probably made as an after thought and never gave any mind to the fact that it would be rare. or that any one would care.

the sharpie on the Brownie doesnt look right. From my experience, and advice from a good friend of mine, use a red marker of sorts or what ever you like to use as a panel liner. the red seems counter intuitive but let me tell you it looks much better on brown. I dont have anything at the moment to take pics of but it loosk better. trust me. The red ends up looking darker against teh brown and sort of looks like a natural darkening of teh brown than black or even gray.

Oh but yours are water slide decals right? sorry I meant stickers. I like stickers. Im too lazy and ignorant to use water slides.

Haha Pat, as i todl you earlier, There was a guy sellign CMS figures set 2. While I was browsing his booth he brought out a new box un opened. So i said i wanted one. swooped in and snatched the front right and it was the solid painted minmei and I only paid 6 dollars!!!

Thats why you need "$5 bootlegs" lying around for such and occasion.

went to masquerade. Onyl ones I could remember that were awesome were the Shinobi suit. and the guy form japan in the Gundam suit. He was the one win the awesome Gundam Astray suit on the retail floor next to deleter booth. He had a wing/back pack that came off with the help of stage ninjas and transformed into a gatling gun. then later it transformed into a big ass sword that he was able to swing around. He struted his stuff and psoed a lot with a samurai sword too. I felt it was a bit much in terms of steailing the spotlight. but then I thought. hey this guy made a great suit so what the hell.

I think Chevy wants a well known and respected car as tracks than the new C6. very little is known about it in comparison to the C5. of course on paper it is suppossed to be better but cmon is a RX-8 better than an FD RX7? in some ways yes but I dont think so.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Noticed a lot more jokes this time around. I didnt think Will Defoe could be topped but I thought Doc Ock was well done. I liked his character a lot.

Based on that one screen shot, its sad that it looks awfully close to DYRL? for Saturn or RT: The Macross Saga for Game Boy Advance. your joking right? cause the DYRL for PSX and Saturn are leaps and bounds from this POS. But as JBO stated they look like the sprites from Famicom

Moe spoils from Vancouver. My Gf showed me she had this game that was from one of her favorite anime, Wataru. She also has a game with a kid monk. So she was going to throw it away cause it didnt work. I figured it must be the metal contact issue like my old NES. So I got rubbing alcohol and a qtip and rubbed the contacts on the cards and it works like a charm. So she let me have it. So I have a PC engine Core Grafx. HE system. what does HE stand for? I havent seen pictures of this thing. What is a Supergraphx then? Mine is a small square dark square box rouchly the size of a CD jewel case. and about as thick as 4 jewel cases. can someone recommend me some good games I need to look for? I see Rtype 1, bomberman and Twin Bee are some games I like. How does the CD unit look and function with the Core system? thanks
