I thought that was the first time Toynami came out with something good. then it was the Mospeada I-Men, Still ahve to get them but those Cyclones are bad assed. HG and toynami need to screw the stupid magnetic feature and start making accessories like Kubrick and making to scale Cyclone bikes for the figures. I would be ok with a removable parts cyclone bike to get the some kind of transformation.

Yeah Goldenboy and I both got the bookends at AX. One guy was almost crying cause it was like the third day he's been trying to get these things. Oh it was my gf who won them and bought them for me. she was the first person to be called/drawn on Saturday at AX

do what i do. Go buy the US Prime. and take the black gun. Then put the megatron gun in his hands so when the toy is put back in the case he'll hold the gun and teh stupid target or walmart clerks wont know the black gun is missing.

Oh ok I thought that was the 1/48 with the Toynami Alpha. Honestly were we expecting less of Toynami/HG? I know I suck at models compared to Jung. So MPC it is. Unless Yamato wants to make em. I dont have a choice. Jsut those damn ronald mcdoland feet. Maybe I'll take it apart and have rohby recast and i'l sculpt a smaller middle section. (not the toes but the grey metal part on the foot that the toes Are attached to)

ok wow that is a big difference haha. But maybe you can enlarge the ARMD and then modify the shoulder cannons. oh for those of you who do own both could you take a picture of the armd from YS in comparison to Daedalus or promethus? thanks

Ok so then couldnt you say recast the ARMD twice? Cut one in half then take a middle section out from another recast and insert it to make it longer? haha and the same can be done to make it wider too. I guess shoulders would need serious reworking hmm but doable.

I cant imagine the blade being deployed via trigger mechanism. Most knives are deployed via direct attachement ( hence bayonet style attachments like for cameras and such) I would imagine that the release mechanism would be a button not a trigger. A second trigger on guns is usually for like a grenade launcher or shotgun. some sort of secondary firing capability.

Ok I just had a thought. The Takatoku and matchbox macross are 1/3000 scale. While the Yellow Sub Macross is 1/4000 scale. Was thinking it would be cool to make the ARMD arms from the Yellow sub kit and put them on the Matchbox to make a Dyrl valk. What do you guys think? how much of a difference is 1/3000 vs 1/4000? dont forget these are two differnet companies. We have seen what 1/55 means to Bandai and what it means to Toynami. same scale but not even close. Is the models physically similar size as teh toy?

Hey guys, I bought focker for 7 bucks opened, w/ soid hair. But I think I might be missing something. Only due to Alex telling me, the Hikaru is missing the lock of hair that attaches to his face while he wears the helmet. As there is a hole in Hikaru's head for that lock of hair. Is there a lock of hair for Focker too?

arhhh why do you guys say tiny. it is to scale!!!! well anyway EXO are you sure about the gun being able to mount on both sides? I thought the gun only has mounting points on one side of the gun which makes it only able to attach on the left wing and left side of the gun. If it were placed on the right wing then the magazine of the gun would hit the body. I dont know if this gun will be easy to recast as it has moving parts. both the stock and grip move/rotate on a pivot (independantly) plus I dont think toynami will be considerate enough to have the gun screw together. Kinda like trying to recast a Yamato gun. Not easily accomplished.

haha crazy nor cal people. That plane must be seriously gross over weight. I dont think it can turn in space very well cause of the sheer mass.

Yeah the same answer for any question whether "Are you gonna make a Cyclone, or a tread/Beta or Invid?" The answer is "Buy the Alphas and we'll see" I dont think HG has that much money to plan multiple toys at once. They have to consider the 4 alpha variations first and then if the sales are better than the MPC which im sure they will be, then they can entertain more ideas.

I got Hikaru for my B-day as a surprise last minute present. (Thanks Lisa and Alex) But compared to Roy, Hikaru looks like a little boy. Liek Roy s the father and Hikaru is a 13 year old kid. WTF!!!!??? Why didi I not see this mentioned before? Most likely I wasnt paying attention. But man is Hikaru tiny compared to Roy. Hikaru's face comes up to Roys Chest box thing on his flight suit.

Ok To clear this up about the Alpha being small, you gotta hold it. While I only held it briefly, the weight is really really really satisfactory. First impressions is (Its gonna be like the MPC) but then you hold it ad you say "Wow!!!!" that is nice. The pic of the MPC with the Alpha is ridiculous. Its like Legolas and Gimli. The alpha is in the correct scale and proportions to the MPC. It is anime accurate. (except for the Ronald McDonald feet) anyway Tom asked me to transform my newly purchased and opened VF-1J GBP Yamato. Fighter, Gerwalk, Battroid with and with out the armour. Anyway, we looked at the two and for sanity sake the 1/60 yamato looks great next to the Alpha. So its not as small as you guys think it is. Specially in fighter mode. Granted the 80 dollar price tag is steep and I dont think it is really worth that much, but hey I have no alternative in terms of Alphas. I have a 1/35 scale alpha. so this one will be a nice addition. No I did not give Tom a hard time. He was very welcome and i hope he had a good time. We chatted about HG/BW relations stuff that he asked me not to post. Nothing really important jsut clarification stuff. But I think we all had a great time. Oh side note on the alphas. Tom brought a Production version. Not a prototype. and the fist holding the gun (the fist is poseable) keeps falling off. So that might be a problem with the Alphas. But hey super glue works wonders.

hey I liked that cartoon. I recall there was an altercation where the real King Arthur and his knights were trapped in ice or something by the evil wizard. Of course no one says "Hey you dont look like teh king!!!" so I assuume that Arthur and his football team the knights must look jsut liek King arthur. Ah but see im not selling it. Im appreciating it in my room everyday. I look at it and think "aww arent you the coolest thing?" haha I dotn plan on selling it. But rather give it a loving home and cherish it. If you sold a stamp without knowing the price shame on you. not the buyer. Think of it this way. We always hear of stores selling stuff at insanely low prices. Most recently Cineeast sellign Mospeada Cyclones and Alphas for 70 dollars a piece. They didnt know its worth double or more. But do we feel bad for buying them at that price? No we feel good for finding such a great haul. Woudl you tell the seller "Hey this is worth double so please take my money" Hell no you dont. So this is jsut the same thing different color. Also condition of storing doesnt neccesarily equal diehard collector fan. There are those anal retentive people who keepthings brand new for the sake of not makign it old. One person liek that is my Dad. There are lots of people who store things and keep the packaging as new as possible not for collection sake but rather toys may be hard to come by so the person's upbringing of conservation and non waste woudl then trasfer to how one cares for his toys. Being frugal and being a collector can look the same but in the end the results are different

Those CM figures are trading toys - In a box of 20, one or two may be the limited figure, and you don't know which one you will get until you pay and open it. It's all just scheme/scam to make people buy muliple copies to get what they want. IMO this kind of business should be regulated and taxed, since trading toy/card is just gambling. granted that works for chase figs. But im talking about con exclusives where you know what you are getting and the resale is insane. Speaking of which I should do a post. But Sideshow toys is being really really anal about its Comic Con exclusives. You can only get one if you pre-order online. And only online. You have onyl two chances to provide a decent creditcard number. Here is the kicker. You must be physically present to pick up the item at Comic con. You have to have photo id and the printed Receipt. No one can pick it up for you. If you cant make it they automatically refund the money to youand you dont get it. That item is then put into a lottery for people who already know they cant make comic con. tough to get huh? Oh th exclusives are 1000 pc. Kroenen 12", 1000 pcs. Angel 12", 1:4 Samaritan gun (for got the numbers) and a smeagol bust. kroenen looks badd assed so im gettign one and the samaritan.
